But what if that thing to remove the P-Switch music override comes through...?!

Also I wasn't aware of that, but isn't the custom P-Switch music going to be a global thing. Would that really effect this? I don't know how it works.
I'm on Youtube andTwitter and Discord so say hi to me on there cause I don't really post here also I have sigs off so I can make my sig as ugly as I want and it won't bother me this is my sig btw

(Assuming this is what you were asking about)
Levels can only have all custom or all original music. The way addmusic works it uploads custom miscellaneous music (level passed, p-switch, that sort of thing) to a new place in the expanded rom, rather than overwriting the original music. If you use an original background track in your level, it will load up the normal misc. music, but if you use a custom background track you get the custom misc. music. yoshicookiezeus is therefore saying that the part with the p-switches would need custom music so that it has the "correct" p-switch music. Why someone can't remake the original music and insert it as a custom track though, i don't know.

The Name: The Frozen Crusade

Level 104

Sublevel 13c

Custom Sprites - Right thwomp and up thwomp (located in the same place as the A List Of Stuff Inserted, except for up thwomp which is a7, unless its taken and ill soon find out.

Im not good with inserting music (sometimes works, sometimes doesnt) so if you could when the levels get inserted, add the song located into the zip folder for both my levels. Thanks!

heh. How stupid of me. I even downloaded that level yesterday, but forgot to insert it...

It seems like that level, as well as your other one, contains a whole bunch of platforms with glitched chains. I took the liberty of removing them, as they didn't seem to serve any purpose at all.

So I suppose this means I *have* to find some custom music for my ghost house, since it uses a P-Switch

Jesus christ there is a lot of crap in this level. Having to bundle all of this stuff up makes me want to not ever do any smw hacking again.

Now what have I forgotten or messed up? I have a bad feeling about the map16.

Hello there,

I have some selfdrawn stuff for my level.

In other words, here are some files that need to be inserted as ExGFX Files.
GVG Graphics edit.zip
yeah, these files have been edited by me
(15.11 KiB) Downloaded 113 times
So, these files find use in levels 103, 16C and 16D

I think the rest is clear?

so yeah, hoho

I think custom sound effects are always loaded (the video I made showing the p switch sfx was using vanilla music), so I don't think you have to. I don't know what's going on with the p switch music right now though, since everyone seems to want something else.

Fuck all this "I don't know" stuff. I'm going to start making polls for everything we're unsure of. Now where was our previous P-Switch tune?

We need some polls for a variety of things. I'm still not convinced we should be changing the koopas.

Here's the jeopardy music. http://www.youtube.com/user/Kil6969#p/u/18/ZVXzKFL2tyo

I prefer the sound effect over it since it's ASM and it's cool.

Amazing. If that isn't going to be the P-switch music, then it should be the bonus game music.
Or maybe the music for an elevator level.

By the way, we can have both. It can be set to p switch music or p switch sound effect on a per-level basis. I know flameofdoubt doesn't want the music in his cirno level to be ruined by p switch sounds, so I'm pretty sure he's using the sound. Anyway, this is the level submission thread.

I personally prefer the jeopardy-tune. Apart from being my suggestion, I just don't get why so many people want the ticking/beeping sound - is it an insider joke I don't understand?

They don't want the music to be interrupted.

Ah, ok. That's actually pretty clever. Never knew it was possible to make the p-switch not interrupt the levels music. Oh well.

Oh boy now... I've tested the nards out of this thing. It is doable, there are no major glitches... If something needs to be fixed, just let me know. Also, hopefully I submitted this right.

Level Name: Four Seasons
Stages Used: 22, 3F, 33, and 40
Text Boxes:
1) Seasons change and so does this level! Enter tubes to travel the calender year, slipping from chilly Winter to the heat of Summer

2) Have you found the other exit yet? Remember that the key to Canada's birthday is trapped in the cold of Winter...

So sorry for holding things up guys. For reals.

Sorry for the double post, but this warrants it...

I inserted an old version of sublevel 3F in my last post. Didn't realize I had kept a copy of it... it's impossible to complete that copy's secret exit. The proper (completable) version is in this folder.

Sorry, my bad.

1-Various examples of cutoff
2- I can jump over this wall in the winter level
3- as mini mario, this jump is nearly impossible

Overall, I like the level design, and it is a cool gimmick. It reminds me of a level in Banjo Kazooie on the N64, infact, it would be epic if you used the music from that level (Click Clock Wood ).

Hmmm.... I never noticed the cutoff before. I mean, it doesn't show in Lunar Magic, and when I ran through I never saw it, but I'll check again.

The wall jump isn't a huge deal I thought, but I'll fix it up for the sake of keeping the level from being broken.

As for that jump, I intended it to be difficult, but I didn't think it was overly hard. I'll tone it down though. Unlike my last level, no one had tested this one but myself.

Thanks a TON for the help though dude. I'd have posted this in the testing thread but: 1) I didn't realize these issues were so glaring/big and 2) I have NO idea on how to create an ISM file.

EDIT: Didn't see the music part. It plays on mine, so I would've thought it'd work here. I'll see if I can get Click Clock Woods to play, but I have no idea on how to insert patches, and I thought that song required N-SCP (or whatever it is).

ISM? I hope you mean IPS. Just get Lunar IPS and click Create IPS patch. If you can't figure out the rest (as it tells you what to do) you probably shouldn't be making levels for a hack

Yes'm, definitely meant IPS, not ISM. I got Capcom vs. SNK2 on my mind. My bad.

Anyways, I'll download the IPS patch feature and do a test first. Thank you Argumentable.
