Ayjo: How about... *points to the stuff mentioned above* ...that stuff?!

Ayjo: First, a pair of pine wood coffee tables! They're not *just* for coffee. That's just what they're called. You know, those long tables you put in front of your couch. Two of them! From Furniture Makers Inc.

Ayjo: Second, from Maynag, a new fridge, with complementary freezer, because apparently we still live in a dark age where fridges don't come with those by default or something. It's... chrome, or something. It's got a built in ice maker, and because such a thing exists, it's also got a built-in computer with wireless internet. Why? Just, why? Is your Twitter feed *that* important that you need to check it while making breakfast?!?! Kids these days. Harumph.

Ayjo: Finally, it's A Pinball Thing! It's that ASMT-themed pinball table we gave away in a previous episode. We have plenty of them. All your favorite characters are here: Demo, Green Demo, that koopa guy who talks too much, and my personal favorite, Mishi! Something something multiball WIZARD MODE! That's pinball jargon, right?

And this game is called... Barker's Markers. Named after the former host of Price is Right, Bob Barker. Or as Drew Carey would have you believe, Ezekiel Barker. This one was also retired on the show itself, for similar reasons as Super Saver: The host (in this case, Drew, not Bob) screwed up the rules on one playing, and they decided to axe it rather than correct the host. Go fig.

Anyhow, the game is simple. There are three prizes, but... four prices listed? That's because only three of them match the prizes, of course. First off, though... *slips Animita five $100 bills* Here's $500. You may win this. Or you may not. Depends on how the game is played. What is it for? I'll tell you later. For now, you'll also need these:

Those are the titular markers. All you have to do is place them next to the three prices you think belong to the prizes shown. You don't have to guess which price matches which prize individually; just place the markers next to *any* price you think looks like it belongs to a prize. For instance, if you think *any* of those prizes costs $3,621, you'll place a marker next to it. Same for the others. Simple enough? Now, make your mark!

Sorry this took so long. I reached the Ancient Cave on Lufia 2, and as it is wont to do, it has sucked me in. Fortunately, I escaped long enough to do an update here!

All right, you've placed the markers at $1,325, $2,115, and $3,621. Now, the good news is, the game doesn't necessarily end here. We *know* you, logically, have to have at least two of those right, so first, special effects guys, show us the price of one of those prizes.

The pinball table is $3,621. Show us another.

The fridge/freezer is $2,115.

Now. The game continues. You may have the price of those coffee tables right... or you may not. Remember that $500 I gave you at the start of the game? Here's where it comes into play. You can give me back that $500, and I'll move that marker from $1,325 to $2,115. Or, if you're confident that the coffee tables are $1,325, you can leave it there, and keep the $500. If you stay where you are, and you're right, you'll win all three prizes and the $500. If you give back the money and are correct, you'll win the prizes, but not the money. If you're wrong either way... that's that. No prizes, no cash. What'll it be?

The mistake Drew made with the rules, by the way, was that he said that if the contestant was to stay with their choices and hold on to the $500, he/she would keep it even if the game itself was lost. This was not part of the original rules, but the producers decided to go with it for that episode to avoid embarrassing Drew, and afterwards just quietly retired the game.

In which we'll, again, have to sort the contestants by the item up for bids they won. Sturg will spin first, followed by 128-Up, then Animita. You know the rules: Closest to $1.00 in one spin or two gets to go to the Showcase. Hitting $1.00 exactly gets you $1,000 and a bonus spin in which you could win $10,000 or even $25,000 more.
