I paid I think 2755 for my bed. And it wasn't a king size made of mahogany bed.

Some of the prizes on TPiR are ridiculously expensive. I've seen beds on that show go for upwards of $8,000. It's nuts, I tell you. :P

Hah. Nah. Obviously I haven't seen them cost that much on Check Game. They've appeared as prizes on other games, though.

That said, the thought of having to write a "negative" check is indeed amusing. :P

...so, after a now eight-game losing streak, I want to point out that I am *not* rigging these games. I have everything laid out ahead of time, and there's just been some horribly bad luck in the last two episodes.

That said, I think I'll whip up a banner for whoever manages to finally break this agonizing losing streak. :P

All right, that terrible prize description for the Money Game car was due primarily to the fact that I am really bad at parody names and it was more like *I* drew a blank rather than poor Ayjo did. Can anyone come up with a few parody car companies I can use in the future? :P

So. I just had a thought about how we might increase wins. On the show itself, the audience plays a big part in assisting the contestants. It's mostly an "everyone shouts out everything and cheers/boos to let the contestant know he/she is on the right or wrong path". Obviously, it's up to the contestant whether he or she wants to *listen* to the audience... but I think it might be fun if there was some of that here, as well. From now on, you're free to make guesses in this thread about what the contestant should do in their pricing game. Naturally, it's still up to them if they want to take your advice... but it, well, may increase the win ratio. :P

I was actually wondering if that was ok to do or not. I didn't see anyone else doing it, so I felt weird about wanting to do so myself.

Perhaps there should be a common way for audience members to distinguish themselves, though, so contestants' posts don't get lost.

Well, all posts would be in *this* thread, not the main one, so I don't *think* there shouldn't be any confusion. This thread is just used for discussion when the episodes are in progress, after all, and I'd consider audience participation "discussion".

As an aside, I signed on Dragon Fogel to be my regular "monitors the episode summary file and the episode itself to make sure I don't cheat (or get accused of cheating)" assistant. So yay for that. :P

Well, you would've gotten the first two digits correct right off, and would've then had four picks at the last two, so... :P

I'm going to say it's clearly 19,000 right off the bat. Beyond that I'd say 500 seems more likely than 300 while as for the the other two digits... the ones is a strange number. Uhh... 19,556 would be my first guess as most likely. (There is a chance it could be 17,000 something but it's more likely. There no way it's 37 or 39,000.)
