Recently I was listening to the music I had and the same music on the radio and liked listening to the music on the radio. After doing some research, I found out that most radio stations have their songs in monoraul sound. So I then decided to listen to my music in the mono format, and I have to say, now listening to my regular music, as well as my video game music is a much better experience.
So now I have a question - do you peeps usually listen to your music in mono or stereo?

Stereo obviously.
Most bands have different sounds on the different channels so when you listen in mono you miss half of the experience. While it can have some interesting effects, you really don't want to have that.

Stereo is better to listen to only in certain genres such as Rock, Rock & Roll, Metal, Heavy Metal, Hardcore, Trance, etc., but in other genres such as Pop, maybe R & B, Hip-Hop, etc., it is better to listen to Mono. Besides, when I play games on the PS2 or an SNES, most of the time, the game sounds are set to Mono.kilon wrote:Stereo obviously.

Re: Stereo or Monoraul?
I listen in stereo. Although, my left headphone is broken now and now I listen in mono.
Not the exact same as proper mono but I am going looking for headphones today... infact in a few minutes :D
I much prefer stereo but I don't mind really. Just I need to get new headphones... then the world will be right again..
