I had a cockatoo named Ian, and she was the biggest smartass ever, like even better than those YouTube videos you see. It was hilarious; a lot of fun.

I could never own a cockatoo. Too much work.

I had a dream that I wandered in front of some weird shack, and there was a guy who looked a lot like Wilhelm from Xenosaga.

Then it zoomed in on Wilhelm, and then suddenly the shack exploded and a giant baby head came out of it.

And then Wilhelm and baby head started chasing me, and then I ran away and I somehow ended up inside my house, then I ran to my front yard and just kinda waited. Then I realized that they didn't know where I went because they assumed I went into the backyard.
And the dream just suddenly ended.

Oh hey, I got one that's pretty fucking stupid. I dreamed that, for some reason, Floyd Mayweather came out of retirement to box Samoa Joe. Samoa Joe played the entire fight as safely as possible, keeping distance and very rarely popping off a right (which would get blocked). If you've seen a Mayweather match, you can fully appreciate how boring it was. For some reason, the announcers did that thing they normally do between rounds, where they show celebrities in attendance. The celebrities happened to be the developers of Crimzon Clover and the announcers referred to fans of the game as "members of the Senpaination". I laughed my ass off so hard at that line that I woke up laughing. Most of my dreams here lately have just been of me choking people out, nothing stupid enough to be interesting until today.

Last night I had a horrible dream that someone was calling me out on my entire existence being incredibly boring and forgettable, and all I could say was just "yeah, no, that's definitely me"

Probably not actually NSFW but hey, a warning never hurt anybody.
So last night I dreamed that I visited my high school's library to meet a friend who was about to graduate. It was all good for a while, we just hung out and chatted and goofed off. After everybody left for the ceremony, I decided to catch up with the librarian, since I used to help out there a lot and knew her reasonably well. Apparently, she'd hired some unusual helpers since I left, including at least one person I knew from online and a troublemaker with the power to turn invisible. Also Mega Man was with me at this point because it was a dream so why not.

Just as I was about to leave, I bumped into the troublemaker, who turned out to be a robot lady for some reason. As soon as it became clear that I had already been warned about her, she kidnapped me, took me to the furthest point in the library and waited for Mega Man to rescue me. This was all because she had taken a shine to Mega Man and wanted to trick him into defeating her in battle, because she wanted to do the robo-dirty with him but APPARENTLY he needed to have invisibility powers if that was going to happen. (Even in the dream, that didn't make much sense.) Mega Man figured this out in the middle of the fight though and just left. The troublemaker kept hounding him, trying to keep the fight going, and... I was kind of stuck there, still trapped in the library. Glad I woke up right then.

I know I've been into crafting complex plots lately, but I never really expected that to bleed over into my dreams...

That wasn't a dream, I'm pretty sure that was me. Don't worry too much though, I was just projecting my problems onto you.

I find it quite hard to recall what I dreamed, but sometimes, when i woke suddenly up, I remember it quite clear and think: "Man, i know how that dream would continue." So I try to fall quickly asleep. But the morning after, the only thing i remember is that i dreamed something weird, mostly i only remember a little thing, e.g. that somehow my mother got a turtle...

I just saw a dream where I had a small handheld propeller. (One of those which is simply a stick and a small rim with the blades). It allowed me to fly pretty high with only a simple running start. Was fairly fun. The location of a dream was a forest side place that looked a bit like finnish Lapland, with a long straight road, and later a city that looked a bit like something from Escher's paintings in style, though a lot simpler and sand colored.

Does anyone else ever have that thing in dreams, where you're at a familiar location, but something minor or major is just drastically different? It feels like the craziest unnecessary thing. Like, I've had dreams where I was at my local supermarket, but it was ridiculously tall, or I was in my own house, yet there was more bedrooms... I've had a few dreams like that, where nearly everything is identical but then just one aspect of the environment is really weird and different~! I have no clue what causes this!

I had a dream within a dream... Strangely common for me. I always wake up, tell my brother, then actually wake up and feel like all the time spent explaining went to waste (especially since I usually forget to tell him anyways)

I was playing a card game of some sort when an ancient water demon or something along that line came out of the cards, and the only way to prevent him from fully destroying civilization was to distract it with things in my house.

my dream last night started with this concept:
"all of a sudden, doing an image search on "flag of northern ireland" results in nothing but indecent photos for some reason"
and then it just sort of ran with the implications
  • checking to see if related searches had the same results, so i knew what searches to avoid and what actually did give me relevant results (none of them, it turned out)
  • forgetting this property was apparently permanent, needing to pull up a picture for reference, and then immediately closing my laptop in panic because i was in public
  • being in a high school-like environment again, getting a group assignment on irish history, then insisting that "no we don't really need flags to add to our trifold board"
and then it somehow transitioned to a barbecue at my (late) uncle's house. and i was still inordinately worried about the google thing

i've had that happen, too, yeah. i heard somewhere that the dreaming brain is terrible at remembering specific details of things (like the "look at the time, then look again" method of getting into a lucid dream), so maybe it's related to that?

My dream started with me browsing the Youtubes, when I decide to go to raocow's channel.
In my dream Youtube's channel layout was changed to all the video links being a giant wall of text with no thumbnails.

I stumble upon a video of him playing a game called S & M, and for some reason King Tutankoopa is there. Then a whole bunch of gimmick happens and raocow reaches the end of the level.
Then, there were suddenly very pretty lighting effect and raocow said "What? Curtains underwater? Is this a dream?"
Suddenly, a jump cut happens and raocow is showing his face. He says "Was that seriously my dream?"
And another jump cut. This time, raocow does a fake waking up thing and again says "Was that seriously my dream?"
Then raocow responds to himself with "Yes! You spat on my sock! ... Pussy. [laughs] Pussy? What am I doing?"

I have no idea what spawned that dream.

something something someone in an online chat said bed. and so I went, in the dream. And also there was snow outside on the groud which I noted was weird because it's the middle of summer. But then I was playing an Animaniacs game but the only characters there actually from Animaniacs were the Warner brothers (and the Warner sister) and I was trying to score enough points doing… something idk… to get the Warners an actual, official psychological evaluation, and they didn't resist it or be zany in any way. Then I was woken up by outside forces.

In the last few nights, I've flown by holding a goose by its neck and having it fetch a tennis ball, scaled multiple stories of a pillow fort inside a hazmat suit, and encountered a plague that reopens every wound that has ever been healed on a body but gives the bearer the ability to save themselves by naming a reasonable price and having someone else willingly take the plague from them.

None were really worth posts in their own right, but my dreams have been much stranger than usual lately, so it's worth mentioning.

I could see that reopening wounds thing being an interesting idea for a story. Veterans and people who have had surgery would be in trouble though...

we were on a cruise ship and found the blue-alien avatar thing that let people inhabit the bodies of those guys

one of my college friends found one, became a blue-alien-person, and promptly started dating some guy that was on the ship

then at some point a high school friend traveled back 1000 years in the past to kill the queen of england and overthrow the monarchy and replace it with a socialist utopia

in the resultant present day, the dominant civilization still ended up exploiting asian labor so the effort was considered a failure.

Goddammit, just had a good one during my siesta. I was at Wal-Mart and met UFC middleweight champion Michael fucking Bisping, who was fucking awesome enough to shop with me. Obviously, a criminal turns out to be on the loose in the store, and we end up catching him for the police. Why can't real life be half this awesome.

Oh god, I had a dream last night that my room was infested with giant... I don't even know what they were. They were like a cross between a praying mantis and a grasshopper. Each one was like 4 to 8 inches in length. Some of them would hatch out of weird pod things and start hopping around. There were some that were between the glass of the framed pictures on the walls in my room. One in particular was like, part of the image in the picture, and later broke out of it.

It seems like I've had nightmares about bugs on a few occasions. I really hate insects.

I had a dream where MaGL 3 was underway and talkhaus decided to make a compilation final level celebrating it and it started with a moving spike wall, and right after I finished my part raocow decided to stream an early test of the compilation on Twitch but as soon as he got to my part my connection dropped. Also you played Lady Sylvanas in my part for some reason.

Contest-related subconscious hype has already begun for me .~.

So I finally recalled one of my bizarre dreams after I had it. This one was a scary dream. And video game related. Which usually don't mix for me.

This game was one I've never seen, and was apparently about a female humanoid (I blame the anime games for this) mouse that was wearing yellow exploring the house. I can only piece this together because I was fighting a boss... in a basement. And it scared the living daylights out of me, especially since I couldn't figure out how to beat it. I looked up the solution, which turned out to be finding a power-up in the back room of the basement that made the mouse shrink, and then being able to charge for some reason. I then instantly experienced the post-battle comic panel-like cutscene, set in the kitchen, where they were apparently patching up relations, and then I woke up. After doing so, I pieced together that the boss was not a cat, because it wouldn't be that scary. Instead, it was some sort of black wolf or coyote.

This is so odd for me that I don't know if it's a dream or my imagination, since I was sort of half awake. Also very vague and bizarre.

There is a woman with some people that is on an adventure in some sort of place where there are parallel realms, and at one point she was on a boat ride that might as well be an amusement park attraction. For some reason, she has to put her face where another person's face was in another realm to get out of the ride (I sort of remember that the guy's face was drawn on). But the ending of that dream was some sort of drawing minigame that feels like something at the end of a chapter. I was doing something with the drawing on an invisible landscape canvas onlooking on a sunset on a forest. I drew like some poorly done suns near the top right corner of the canvas, and the woman said something like "It's like a sunset with three suns".

Yep.
