That's how it goes with most forums. A blanket ban on them won't happen, so most obscure forums will probably never get blocked unless they have questionable content posted. Used that to my advantage a couple years ago, and it was pretty cool.

EDIT: Oh, and welcome, Dergym. I was wasting my time anyways, so don't worry too much. ;)

Hey there everypeoples, I am Zudak, a man on the internet.

I'm pretty much interested in anything interesting. Book, music, videogames, you name it.

Why am I here? Well, why the heck not. Always good to find people who are interested in the same things as me (read: nerdy things) I guess, and that's often pretty hard to do IRL. And I like relatively small places like this. Large fora and such often are confusing to me.

Also: I tried to make a Let's Play one time, but I'm using this rinkydink little piece of junk laptop with a loud fan, and my mic is also a piece of junk, which led to a very loud and irritating buzzing in the background of the video which made it basically unwatchable. Exacerbated by the fact that the game in question was Knytt Stories - quiet ambience and loud buzzings do not mix. And yeah I guess that's it.

I thought about studying law for a little while... that ambition did not last very long, however. And the crazy hard science classes put me off becoming a marine biologist. However, I am sticking with electronics/industrial control.

I've been watching raocow's Let's Plays for a while now (having first heard of him via a random reference in one of ProtonJonSA's Let's Plays), and have become interested in Mario ROMhacks in general. As such, I've already downloaded everything I need to start my own ROMhack (Lunar Magic, it's IPS thingy, an emulator, and you-know-what-else). Having just built my second level, I thought I'd go ahead and make my first post here.

PS: My excuse for having the 'stuff' is to practice for 2D level design, so who knows if I'll be able to release it. I'm also going to be careful with how I work on it, as I noticed that I collected an entire site's worth of Warcraft 3 models/skins/maps for my 3D level design practice.

I also have a YouTube/deviantART/Twitter account, so, plugged!

I'm Gypsy, I guess annnnd let's see here. I'd watched LPs before, but when I saw raocow's videos (very recently) I sort of saw something new in them, I guess. I would do my own, maybe, if I were any good at them. So yeah. There's that.
I'm a female, struggling, mostly-college student from the US. I spend a lot of my moneys on retro games and systems. I also am known for trying to be artistic (although I am not always known for succeeding and/or being any good.)
