Sweet. I just went to one on Sunday -- our group is playing 3e rules since the splats are easy to acquire, and the entire group is full of beginners. The entire group besides me decided to be human/half-elf core classes. I felt that was boring, so lol Catfolk Unarmed Swordsage. It's great fun, although it all depends on your DM and group.

I think I have a DND character sheet I started in the back of my car. I was going to play with some friends but setup took forever and I had to get home so I basically got as far as naming it "Antonio Stella Bottom Tile".

We actually played it during our Music Theory class when we we're all done with tests and stuff, it was dumbfun.

I'm sure there's plenty of us who'd be up for an online game of D&D. The hard part with this sort of thing is always finding someone capable of DMing, who's also willing to DM, who also has time.

I've only actually played Paranoia before, and have been a bystander for a bunch of DnD games, but all these sorts of games look like a blast so I'm totally willing to learn what I need to for any system.

I've never played a full game of DnD. The only time I tried, it was with one guy (the DM) who knew what he was doing and a bunch of people who were completely new, myself included. We drove him crazy after a couple of hours asking questions, and we quit mid-session.

I've wanted to give it another shot, so if y'all decide to do a thing, keep me in the loop and I'll see if I can clear enough time to play.

I'd happily try any of those. Out of the cortex themes, I'm only familiar with Firefly. Though, intuition tells me it's best to play something the DM is most excited about, so my vote goes for Eclipse Phase.

I'm okay with voice. If schedules and stuff work out for enough people, it'll be incredible.

Admittedly, it's my safety pick, but whatevs. It's highly rated, has relevant dudes, and is already promising financial aid, which is uncommon at the MA level. So...
