Insane, if it was random, you had a 2/151 chance of getting Cubone or Marowak, which is unlikely but not negligible.

Hell yeah, I've ascended to Vulpixhood. Out of all the 1st gen Pokemon, my favourites are Vulpix, Vaporeon and more or less any Nido- evolution line. Special mentions to Noctowl in Gen II. I like this turn of events more than I enjoyed being a cast-off fragment of the nascent ningamer.

(Interestingly, I started a new game of PMD: Explorers of Sky last night. My main character is a Shinx, but the partner's a Vulpix. This was mainly so I could get away with calling them Safari and Firefox, so I can now claim the game is PMD: Explorers of the Internet.)

Windows automatically upgraded me to 8.1. I can see what they're going for here. It's all right.

I turned automatic updates off for exactly this reason. Although 8.1 has features it seems I would enjoy, the update has been known to delete other OSes such as Linux on computers that can dualboot into both. Thanks Microsoft?

Although it was just today that there was an automatic anyway despite my wishes, which is not only worrying but rather sinister as well. Luckily though it was not 8.1
