Those things Ivy posted are hilariously rough though.

I'd just buy it for the Capri-Sun and then fumble like a moron for an hour trying to get the straw in the hole.

I drew a character with some animation for a game thing for the first time. He's kinda terrible, but oh well. I can improve it later.

We came from the stars (doo-doo-doo-doo)
Just kidding, we came from Mars (doo-doo-doo-doo)

Re: Butt-Ugly Martians Megathread
So, now that I'm done with my AP exams, I'm officially done with all of my exams for my entire four years of high school. Man, that's a weird feeling.
I took the AP Calculus BC exam, which I did so terribly on I requested a cancellation form. I also took the AP Computer Science A exam, and I was able to reach the end of both hour-and-a-half sections with twenty minutes remaining. Ironically, I had studied months more for the Calculus BC exam than the Computer Science exam... in fact, AP CS I only gave three weeks practice.
What really made the difference was the material I was using to study with. I can't stress ENOUGH how essential test-based practice material is for AP... the difference was like night and day for AP Calc BC (which I had no test prep for, and only used review materials for the subject) and AP CS A (which I had both a Barron's book and a Be Prepared book for). If you're taking an AP course, I really recommend at least one book from either of those series, because they're VERY useful for getting familiar with the test itself rather than just the subject.
If possible... get both. Barron's has the advantage of being more user-friendly, and the one which I had for CS included a diagnostic practice test, which was created in such a way that you could know exactly what subjects you needed to study based on what you got wrong. Be Prepared didn't have a diagnostics test, but it contained more practice tests overall, as well as them being more rigorous. They were very helpful for sharpening my skills after I learned everything I needed to know from the Barron's book, and with that practice the real exam was nearly a breeze. Once again, I really do recommend both Barron's and Be Prepared, so get the latest copy for your AP test next year if you can!

Got a bit of a Plug to do here: TaviTurnip and I are gonna be streaming a randomized Pokémon FireRed single-segment race this Saturday to raise money for her bills and stuff and for another friend of mine's imminent move away from his awful parents. We're thinking of starting at around noon EST and going for uh, a very, very long time. :O
I'll be streaming at https://www.twitch.tv/zyglroxodyssey, she's at https://www.twitch.tv/taviturnip. It's gonna be a lot of stupid fun and we hope to see you guys there :D

Not anymore!
After mastering the CS exam, I thought I'd learn C next so I'll be prepared later on. Thinking about learning it through Zed Shaw's Hard way, then perhaps using K&R C for reference afterward. Literally every resource is telling me to use K&R C as reference (even Zed Shaw), so I feel confident with that one. It might be difficult to get through with this once college starts, though... I'll have to do as much as I can over the summer.

That's cool! I'm currently working on a cosplay for next weekend. It's been frustrating, but I'm starting to get it
