Oof, do I have some bad news for you...
That aside, the rest of the updates seem really damn good.
But just straight up fuck the new layout. The old one was alright I'd say, but the new one is straight garbage.
Here's to whomever first releases an extension fixing this mess.
Does the new layout have a way to get rid of the hosted channel's overlay? Like, if someone is hosting a person and you go to the hoster's channel, it comes up with the overlay just like it used to, but now there's no button to click to make it drop back down as far as I can tell.
Also it's kinda dumb that the video isn't at the top of the page now. Like, when you go to the streamer's channel, it defaults you to be scrolled down a bit to compensate, but you can scroll up for no reason other than to have the banner image on the streamer's page. Really bizarre layout.

if twitch adds video uploads maybe we can all get rid of words like "youtubers" and "streamers" and get back to "lets players" ... that would be truly wonderful *sparkle*
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

Y'know, it's kinda weird. There are YouTubers and streamers, not YouTubers and Twitchers... it should just be let's players and streamers IMO. Though ofc lots of people do both nowadays

Calling someone a Twitcher would accidentally imply there's something physically wrong with them anyways, lol.

So, apparently, Mario's canon age is 24-25.

Poor guy's mushroom consumption certainly took its toll.

I'm too lazy to search, so... what are the orange names for?

I want, like, a bright blue name or something. Or maybe a dark maroon. Or perhaps a tasteful pastel pink. Or something. This dark blue just ain't doing it for me. Make it happen, yo.

Give me liberty, or give me a bologna sandwich!

This post really doesn't have much of a purpose. Nopor Puss would be proud.

Aha. I expected as much after seeing a few more orange names, but wasn't 100% positive.

I've kinda gracefully bowed out of SMBX, myself. But I look forward to seeing what kind of neat stuff the haus does with it in the future. A2XT was great, and I look forward to Episode 2 or A3XT or what have you.

From what I read of the actual source, Miyamoto was basically saying that was where they started when they were designing the character, but didn't necessarily say that's how old he is now, in his current form.

I'm refusing to believe it. And random "this is now canon" stuff has been thrown out in the past.
Here is Miyamoto saying Mario and Luigi don't have last names,, and here he is saying their last name is Mario.

Who the hell looks at Nidhogg and thinks, "Hmm, this would be better if it looked like ClayFighter"?

Edit: Jesus, it gets even better. Image
Yeah, maybe being an ass like this isn't the best way to respond to criticism from the people who will make or break your game.

Haven't had this much disappointment in a game just by the trailer in a while.

Just finished reading Transformers: MTMTE #57. Aaaaand that's it. The Dying of the Light arc was an awesome end to the main story so far, while the Titans Return two parter tied up a few loose ends. But man, it's gonna be a long wait for the continuation of the series. For realsies, never expected to really enjoy a Transformers comic, but the MTMTE was real good, and I can only hope that the Lost Light will continue the fun.

Freedom! Finally got the go-ahead from the doc to stop wearing my back brace. Like, after a few months wearing it, I was already used to the slight bulk of it, but having to wear it in warm weather was unpleasant. Still feels rather odd to grope my back and feel the surgical scar and whatnot, and the knowledge that there's like 10 screws on my spine.
