I'm ending August kind of feeling better, but I might as well spill the beans here...

That caused me to give my notice and take a hike without having anything lined up before it did become a public issue. I've really been thinking of doing a Patreon again and even went to the trouble of making it this time, but I am so nervous about letting it go live. I just don't know if I can offer anything other than just more of what I do on my channel anyway. I set up a preview, but I don't know. Is it worth it?

I'm not totally strapped for cash at the moment, but it's not like I'm doing great either. I already feel bad that I haven't been able to donate to some other channels or causes over the last couple of years because it has been touch and go at times with my cash flow. All of what little I had been making went into saving up in case of an emergency or helping my family out, and there have been enough of those issues the last few years that I can't turn a decent positive on that front. It's just so frustrating.[/registered]

Developed a friction blister on my thumb trying to tighten up an N64 controller.

Controller is now fully responsive but I have to go back in because now it's sticking on forward and back. At least I won't develop a blister unsticking the screws next time I go in.

In unexaggeratedly similar finger pains, I have a long cut across the inside of my middle finger from -- yes -- the rough side of a two-surfaced sponge. When you first use a dish sponge with a "scrubbing" side, sometimes they're extremely jagged in places before getting in the water.
