i saw the first episode and thought it was just weird for the sake of being weird, rather than funny weird. like cromartie high school, for example.
(note: i've only seen the first episode once around five years ago or something, so my opinion probably doesn't count anyway.)

its not really supposed to be a show about being funny. like, there are a ton of jokes in it, but that's not really what it's about.

welp, that's what i get for watching a single episode of a show and having expectations before watching. i'm really bad about that.
i can definitely understand the appeal if it's more symbolic than just 'weird' and has an underlying meaning or something (totally brainfarting on the word i actually want to use here). i think i'll give it a second chance at some point and hopefully have a better opinion this time.

I'm yet to find any Easter eggs. They've probably been hidden too well this year.

Been feeling quite down lately. My mum seemed to have caught a bug and doesn't want to eat. My dad had just retired so his first Easter he's home my mum has to get sick.

Also having some self-esteem issues and valuing my worth as a human being and a friend, as cliche as it sounds. And I'm very woozy from drinking several glasses of wine with my dad. I was happy having a big ol' chat with him as we're very quiet tho'.

you can tell me whatever ya want, chief. but i totally get it if that won't be useful to you - i know that i need to scream a lot of things myself and i'm stupidly weird about who the receiving person is affecting how much it really helps. (also i wont be online much in the next two days anyway cuz of con shenans)

So I'm volunteering for a local film festival in about a week, and for training, I got to demo some VR headsets and short films, which were super fun!

So here we are. Plays have been enacted. Empires have come and gone. The mightiest have passed away and withered, alike the least. Fires have burned, thousandfold. Yet, did not the great wind serenely continue its course? Does not the blackbird still sing its song? Does not the mistletoe still dwell in the oak's crown? Forgotten, what once has been told. Veiled, the words that once so rang out. Shrouded, like the larva in its cocoon. Let him hear it, who will.

So, hey, uh, some kinda big news I guess.

So, OpenToonz, the animation software used by Studio Ghibli and Futurama, is now free for everyone and open-source.

This is kind of a big deal. If you've been contemplating getting into animation, now's your chance!
