Realizing that unless you're lucky and they happen to coincide, fun negates productivity.
Like, I've gotten all 148 perfects in the first three Rhythm Heaven games. So what? What good does that do me? None, that's what. It just shows that I've wasted my time instead of getting something done that would actually be worthwhile.

it's a personal achievement in something that's important to you. you set a goal, and you completed it.No Lynch wrote:Like, I've gotten all 148 perfects in the first three Rhythm Heaven games. So what? What good does that do me?
the good in your life, what is worthwhile, isn't defined by what others can get out of your actions. you need to do stuff for yourself, too

I hardly ever have anything interesting to say, so that shouldn't stop you. Case in point, if I don't beat a game tomorrow (and I won't), my streak will finally end. Kind of glad for that... especially after I got my first paycheck the other day.

All I want is a functional laptop is that too much to ask ;-;
So here we are. Plays have been enacted. Empires have come and gone. The mightiest have passed away and withered, alike the least. Fires have burned, thousandfold. Yet, did not the great wind serenely continue its course? Does not the blackbird still sing its song? Does not the mistletoe still dwell in the oak's crown? Forgotten, what once has been told. Veiled, the words that once so rang out. Shrouded, like the larva in its cocoon. Let him hear it, who will.

It came to my attention that the code I was using broke on certain shitty mobile browsers (not Firefox or Chrome so not a huge deal) as well as on Internet Explorer so I went ahead and worked through a fix for it.Argumentable wrote:I saw it at work (where I am now) so I vouldnt do anything with it. If by 'better', you mean 'not tired' then yeah.Medley wrote:i hope you feel better in the morning
I mean, I did get past it. It only took until nearly 3:30am to figure it out.
Funny how being tired can sometimes help you to think clearer. Probably one of the reasons why I'm so much more productive late into the day, or something.
On another note, as of today, I think I've successfully memorized hiragana. That didn't take long. Hooray
Now onto katakana I guess.
Maybe I'll do Russian or something for the hell of it too.

I was planning to edit together my recordings and have something up tomorrow.
But, my idiocy + my inability to do homework = getting my computer taken away.
So I can't edit.

Your body gets rid of harmful chemicals while you're sleeping which specifically accumulate when you're awake.Learning-Timebuster wrote:honestly why even sleep
