And what's with this armadillo game? Were they making a Sonic Western and somebody sneezed on the code and Sonic turned into an armadillo and they just decided to go with it? Admittedly it looks cool but it's a sore thumb amongst the new (and old) Mario/Zelda/Kirby iterations.

I don't think it's out of place among the other games. also I don't see how it's anything at all like sonic, more like a mix of okami and a tower defence game or somthing, maybe?

It's a sore thumb because it's actually a new property published by Nintendo as opposed to you know, the SIXTEENTH iteration of Zelda.

I was mostly just comparing it to Sonic because he has a rolling attack that's exactly like what Sonic does.

Still seems weird to compare it to sonic, I dunno, it's kinda like saying a plumbings simulator is the same as a mario platformer.

Sonic has a squat anthropomorphic character that rolls into stuff as an attack.

Rolling Western has a squat anthropomorphic character that rolls into stuff as an attack.

Put a cowboy hat on Sonic and replace the rock enemies with robot animals and you have the next Sonic game.

Mario is a plumber in name only. He's never done anything even remotely resembling what a real plumber does.
