What happened to SNESMusic.org?

Post by LucianoWinFan »

Hi, so a user on talkhaus, named YelseyKing (YK) used to be the owner of a site named SNESMusic.org (alongside Datschge).
However, the forums has an error that makes it dead. The main site also seems to be dead, as it seems to be inactive, as seen by an unresponded PM to YelseyKing I sent:
"So my favorite music site is your website, SNESMusic.org. However, after I submitted sets for Super Wag(y)an Land 2, Sound Factory, and Super Famista 5, I waited a long time and it didn't get approved, so maybe the site is dead? Heck, even the forums are dead."
As a result, I began working on an unofficial version 3 of SNESMusic, as well as making a new site, named PCMusic.
I even made a downvote-bombing meme on Imgur about the site.
I even forgot to respond about an update for the Hebereke's Popoon SPC set, which also didn't get approved.

I think there's really nothing you can do but make your own SNESMusic as you are doing already

If you find a way to properly rip Summon Night Swordcraft Story for a pmh 2.0 that'd be super (unless it is AudioOverload being shit)

I know he didn't create SNESMusic. In fact, the founder of the archive is Datschge. However, I found no way to contact him, so maybe he was the one approving the SPC sets, but he no longer did. Perhaps he was on a vacation? Did he get sick? Was the site on hiatus?

I sent Datschge (the REAL owner of the site) an email (that has yet to respond) about if he works on this site anymore.
