I check all of these sites at least once a day to see if they've updated. This is what my life has become.

Also, I promise to keep my own site up-to-date (ironically speaking).

Idk I genuinely like having a sort of webspace even though everything I write on it is in a rambling tone so I'll probably keep updating mine even if it's just doing the stupid "here's another ranking for a mario enemy" because it's kind of nice to have a place to put my brain and it makes me wanna actually do something like an actual video game review so I guess it's kind of inspiring in an actual way no jokes or sarcasm but definitely run on sentence

Can I recommend a few styles to throw on your pages to make them easier to read?

Code: Select all

width: 35rem;
max-width: 80%;
margin: 1rem auto;
line-height: 1.4;
You can play around with the width to your liking, but that's around the "recommended" width for reading. The 80% max-width just makes it so it doesn't jam up against the side on mobile. Margin is adding some space to the top/bottom and centering it. And line-height is again, just nicer to read.

And it may be controversial but you could throw in a font like
font-family: Arial;
or something. I find the default browser font (think it's Times New Roman) kinda hard to read. But some people might dig it for the retro web feel

You can recommend all you want, I'm using what little knowledge I remember from 20 something years ago and stealing the rest from online tutorials so I don't really know what to do with anything

That's why my website was called CSS Template

For prefabricated backgrounds, https://www.transparenttextures.com/ has some good stuff, too!

Oh right, I didn't read the OP, or anything else, because of course I didn't.

Realistically I wasn't going to do anything other than put obscenities in plain text so do what you like.
