Digimon: We've come a long way since the Tamagotchi-for-boys days...

We discuss Digimon here.

...

That's all I can think of to describe this thread.

Alright, to start us off, I think I'll share what has to be my favorite Digimon: MarineAngemon.

I mean, look at it! It's adorable! And it's also quite strong, what with being a Mega and all. (Funny story, actually; In Digimon World Dawn, there was this one time where my team nearly got rekt (I love that spelling) by a MarineAngemon in a random encounter. The next random encounter ALSO had a MarineAngemon, which did wreck my team like I was a scrub.)

Now that that's out of the way, I'll end this post and let you guys talk about Digimon.

P.S. If this thread belongs in the cartridge', move it there.

Well... that depends if it's more about the games or the anime/other bullshit I assume surrounds it.

The original tv series sure was good. I never got into any of the games, though.

I was never a big fan of the show, but I love the games, and I'm actually currently playing Digimon Cyberslut on Vita. It's pretty good, the characters are cute, the plot is surprisingly engaging, the battles are great, and planning the digivolutions requirements for 50 digimons at the same time is a lot of fun. I just wish they got more creative with the skills, they are really basic except for the one unique one every digimon gets.

I always liked how each game is completely unique and has nothing to do with the previous one's in every way, unlike a certain other monster taming series.

I only enjoy the Digimon anime from Adventures to Frontier. The rest are like meh to me. Savers pretty much ruined the "Chosen Child" concept; and Xros Wars exaggerates too much fusion (the final episode is the only good thing about it).
