should vore be allowed in talkhaus?
a few months ago, some penishead knob permabanned me because i showcased my yoshi girl game. no hesitation, no questions, no simply deleting the thread and saying to me, "hey i had to delete your thread because of "sexual" content, consider this a warning". nope. just an irresponsible and nonchalant decision of pushing the ban button without a second thought.
since it was technically vore, i gave it a "Vore warning". and it kinda makes me wonder if any ""disciplinary" action would have been taken if i didn't even give a courtesy warning. it would have simply been "yoshi girl eats enemies because....well, she's a yoshi"
i didn't start this thread to bitch about my ban since raocow seemed to think it somewhat absurd and lifted the band, and that's all ancient history.
i started this thread to ask the community if they think vore should be allowed here.
we all drop the f bomb and seem to adhere to a pg13 level of content.
so as long as there are no blatant NSFW imagery, and its not blatantly sexual, should vore be allowed to be showcased on this site?
note: i am asking the community for their opinions. not asking the staff to regurgitate the rules.
Best,
~Sloshy

Re: should vore be allowed in talkhaus?
Well, I'll put it like this.
Sorry if I'm sounding harsh, but it just seems to me like you're making it more sexual than it needs to be.
You might be right there. It's also not the only thing that's silly. I'm going to assume that said yoshi girl is what your avatar is, and, well... Yoshis are reptiles, right? Oviparous. Don't look much like monotremes to me, so not mammals. Why does the non-mammal have mammaries? Are these egg sacs? Right now it just seems to me like they sexualize the character, much like the skimpy clothing (as it implies that clothing is necessary while not being much of it). The usual Yoshi (and Birdo, for that matter) go around without clothing. Don't think I've seen much hair on reptiles, either. Scales don't mesh well with it, assuming Yoshis have scales.since it was technically vore, i gave it a "Vore warning". and it kinda makes me wonder if any ""disciplinary" action would have been taken if i didn't even give a courtesy warning. it would have simply been "yoshi girl eats enemies because....well, she's a yoshi"

Re: should vore be allowed in talkhaus?
sexual content isn't allowed here
the only case I believe it is okay is if it's off-site and clearly marked
I'm not gonna knock whatever you're into, bud, but I couldn't bring myself to read >half your post and the answer is "no"

Re: should vore be allowed in talkhaus?
if you want to publish vore-oriented (voriented, if you will) works, you could at least be a bit subtle about it

There's overactive innocent imagination that happens to get people in trouble in professional settings, and then there's this.
There is a place and time to share such activities, and this is not the place.

Re: should vore be allowed in talkhaus?
this is very controversial for me to point out, but to be honest, when it comes to a fetish sort of thing, it really isn't inherently sexual as in the concept itself, it's the content that frames it for an audience. like, the concept - "eating people" - can be framed in different ways. as cannibalism for horror (or dark humor...) or as "vore" for a fetishistic audience. (sexual or not.) literally anything can be a fetish, so we shouldn't dismiss any content as inherently sexual. the question is really less your content and more your intent, and if you're just dumping your fetishes here, well... i don't know if you should be banned if they're work-safe but basically don't expect to find many fans.
but anyway to be honest I don't really get the people saying "well its inherently sexual" because it isnt. the only thing that is inherently sexual is sex. if you're grossed out by something that's fair and if you think this user is just trying to find ways to put their fetish into things that's fair. but don't call something inherently sexual because that's ridiculous. that's my asexual's perspective on this.
as for what i think about the OP's question, i don't really care lol.

Re: should vore be allowed in talkhaus?
This is probably what it all boils down to, really.Leet wrote:it really isn't inherently sexual as in the concept itself, it's the content that frames it for an audience.
As far as the question of "should vore be allowed in talkhaus", I'm going to answer "no", because when I hear "vore" I tend to associate the word with either something that intentionally frames itself as sexual or something that intentionally frames itself as horrifying, neither of which would reflect all that well on the site. However, there are plenty of things that probably TECHNICALLY count as vore which aren't an issue. That one boss of Yoshi's Island (level 3-4, I think?) is probably a good example. Nobody really finds that offensive.
I'm still answering "no" on principle, just because of what the word usually implies, but it's really more a matter of context than anything.

Re: should vore be allowed in talkhaus?
Why did you put "vore warning" then? Admittedly I'm not the one who saw your thread back then so I don't know what it was like, but if that's a "vore game" to the same extent that you consider yoshi's island a "vore game", then it's ok.
But we're obviously not going to let anything pornographic on the forum lol

Re: should vore be allowed in talkhaus?
Probably not smart to talk about your fetishes here anyways.
