he's a fictional character, so it's not a historical story. he was real, but quitting history causes you to become fictional, because otherwise, you'd be able to make history by figuring out how to do something like quitting history.

Fictional characters influence history too, though. Imagine if Harry Potter didn't exist, for example.
It is, therefore, impossible by definition to tell a story (or say anything, really) about a guy who quits history.
