Hi

Everybody has dumb stuff they collect, whether it's gaming things or not. You should post that dumb stuff here so people can laugh at you and realize why you mostly post on an internet forum and don't go outside. It doesn't have to be gaming related but I'm pretty sure that's what most people will post (that's fine)

Here I'll show some things that I took pictures of with a shitty camera

Slasher Figures

I don't know if my avatar gave it away but I was pretty big on slasher movies for a while. Not really "horror" just the dumb "guy goes around killing people" movies. Here's a giant Michael Myers from Halloween

Did anybody actually see the Hellboy movie and like it? No? I did. I thought it was really cool so I bought some of the book things too off amazon and they're way cooler than the movie. Kreonen (this guy) is completely different in those and he also has a bunch of masks and hats that I don't know where they are but I was afraid of breaking something again so I didn't touch them this time

Books

Hey do you guys like Garfield? I did way back and I still have all the books apparently. See also: some other random books I've never read and a perfectly fine third shelf that I could put more books on

This is a book of the Mario comic that was in Nintendo Power(?) and it's pretty cool

Other thing

I don't remember where I got this and you can't tell because the angle is weird and it doesn't stand up, but it's a chestburster (you know, from the Alien franchise)

Isaac Statues

I bought myself these as a reward to myself for getting Real Platinum God in Isaac Rebirth. I commissioned them from an artist on etsy and you should check her out cause she's super cool and talented: http://www.lootreart.etsy.com/

Mega Man stuff

Here's a bunch of Battle Chips that came with the Mega Man NT Warrior action figures. I don't even know what happened to the toys themselves, or the PET I used to have but I also have an imported PET from Japan (this one wasn't actually localized) which is pretty cool

Things on top of my bookshelf

Far left is the Elite Club Nintendo award which is a little Mario characters statue in a question mark block. I never had anywhere to put it so I just keep it in the box for some reason. On top of that was the first Elite member award which is the Mario hat. Then there's some sanic plushes I got from a claw machine in California (I don't even like Sonic), then an Iron Man plush, I don't know where it came from, a Yoshi plush, also don't know where it came from, and then a coke bottle with my name on it, and a ninja turtle pez dispenser I got for Christmas. I'm not even displaying it, I just didn't know what to do with it and I'm too lazy to open it so I just threw it up there. And finally the button set which was also from Club Nintendo.

Game & Watch Collections

These were also Club Nintendo exclusive games. I was an idiot and when I got the first one I took it out of the shrink wrap and tried playing it and it was boring so I turned it off and never touched it again. Thankfully I never got as curious with the second one and it's still in the shrink wrap. I'm pretty sure they must be somewhat rare cause my local used game store has the first one on display in a glass cabinet with a bunch of expensive and/or not for sale stuff.

a pretty meager figure/amiibo collection but thats because like, half of it is with my boyfriend or friends

here's as of yet un-named inkling girl amiibo and rosie, my peach amiibo and kamen rider gills from kamen rider agito, he screams a lot and i love him???

i also have like, almost all of the merchandise for cucumber quest, but half of that is also at the boifs

I have a bunch of nintendo plushies and a box full of pokémone figurines but they're not really arranged anywhere neatly and we're moving soon and I won't have access to the probably for a couple months aaaah!!!

hopefully I'll get them to look nice in my new room half a year from now and I can post those suckers
EDIT: oh yeah I forgot I also have a bunch of mega man and homestar runner figurines
and this book. it's pretty swag

someday I'll take pictures of this and I'll be cool like all the cool kids because it makes you cool

I got Rockman.EXE 4.5 Real Operation in the mail today

Like every GBA cart with an internal battery, it's dead so the clock function in the game is broken. I don't know if I'll bother trying to fix it.

Basically all I need now is the last few BN games to come in the mail, then Rockman.EXE WS and Rockman.EXE Operate Shooting Star and I'll have a complete collection of all the physical releases of Megaman.EXE and Star Force games.

I think I have the biggest Mewtwo collection but thats only because I've never seen a bigger one. (Picture is 6 months out of date but gives a good idea about scale, top drawer has even more stuff)

I have been collecting my own dumb nerd stuff for a while. Sadly my collection does not reflect the age of it.
Behind this little set up is a butt load of Gen13 comics, assorted comics, a few Zenescope, and a nice collection of strategy guides.

I wanted to get the collector's edition of Witcher 3 and MGS V to top these shelves off, but it didn't exactly work out. Behind Squall is a collector's edition of Halo Reach.

And of course, because I am super nerdy, just a sample of the maps and posters I get from games.

I also collect games obviously, but those aren't really displayed so much as scattered throughout an entertainment center.
