Oh yeah this thing. As a bilingual person I think the same way as raocow, a billion is 10^9 in english, but 10^12 in swedish, however, a billion is still 10^9 to me because 10^12 is spelled biljon in swedish, poor french talking people having them spelled the same way. Oh wait I know a bit of french too, oh well french is like super weird with its numbers either way (I'm looking at you, 4 20 10 9 (quatre-vingt-dix-neuf)!).
