Cleveland's pitching is insane.

Best thing ever: When your team barely scratches across a run, only for the other team to lead off the very next half-inning with a homer.

Not only does it completely negate your team's efforts instantly, but it feels like the other team is just toying with them. "lol yeah right LOSERS"

...and the let them take the lead on a hit by a freaking American League pitcher.

I'll be in the corner softly weeping as the Cubs just throw this one away.

Le sigh so far. Switched it over to the Blues game once it got up to 3-1.

Don't bother looking up the final score, haha

This is the most Cubs way this World Series could be going...

Already saw. It was nice to see the Cubs score the first and last runs of the game. Shame about the seven in the middle.

This World Series has been a disappointment. I know we all said it didn't matter to us who won, but I was hoping for something more than this thus far one-sided curb-stomp.

The Cubs have the lead? And are out-hitting Cleveland for a change? Buh?

You know, they technically do have the pitching to come back. Lester, Arietta, Hendricks, most likely... the problem is, can they *hit*? Hendricks has been shut out 1-0 *twice* in his last three starts...

Eh. If the Indians are going to win the World Series, I'd at least like them to do it in Cleveland. World Series wins are always more meaningful at home.

Nope. It'll be a reversal of the 2003 NLCS where the Cubs lost Game 5 on the road only to lose the next two at home. Now it's time to win three in a row for a perfect Cubtober... or Cubvember coming up, but that looks more like cucumber now that I think about it.

Heh, we can certainly hope. Like I said, they're most likely going to send out Arietta and Hendricks in games 6 and 7, so it's definitely possible! Of course, they'll have to figure out Kluber, who'll likely go game 7... but they took down Kershaw when it counted, so we shall see.

Well that's a promising start. Now let's just hope Carlos Santana doesn't immediately tie it with a homer in the bottom of the first.

Edit: Four hits, three runs, and an error. Nice start indeed! The Indians' pitching has looked a lot more hittable over the last two games, so...

That's a pretty crazy start to the game. Let's hope we get vintage Arrieta tonight.

So far, so good, except for the home plate umpire making him throw ~10 more pitches because he called strike 3 on Lindor a ball.

Would this world series become better if it goes to 7 games in your eyes, Yelsey? And I don't mean from the eyes of a fan of either team I'm talking overall.

Grand slam Addison Russell! 7-0 Cubs!

Yes. :P

Well, the Cubs forced a game 7, though I'm worried. They've barely been able to touch Kluber, though given how they responded to being shut down by Kershaw and Tomlin, it's certainly possible they'll rebound and beat the snot out of the guy. I'm more worried about how they pointlessly used Chapman tonight, and how available he'll be tomorrow...

But we shall see. One more, Cubs. Just *one* more.

Leadoff homer by Fowler. Another promising start. Go Cubs!

Edit: Has there been a single frame in which the Indians went down 1-2-3? Seems like every inning of every game in the entire World Series, they've managed at *least* one base runner, be it a hit, a walk, a hit-by-pitch, or a fielding error.

Good start. I've got to make a store run, though, so I'll be missing the next couple to few innings on tv. No way I'm not bringing my phone for updates! Tonight, one baseball team is ending a long drought. Woo boy, let it be the Cubs.
