Normal things you've done at strange hours

Post by TheFinalBoss »

I just ate a sandwich with ham, pepper cheddar, olive oil, salt, and pepper at 1:37AM. You don't have to post it here right after you did it. You can give anecdotes about past experiences. For example, mine was that I was hungry at 1:30 and was going to make an omelette, but a sammich was faster :3.

Taking a long walk at night. I'm talking anywhere between midnight to 5am here.

I used to have a 28-hour activity cycle, as in I slept 2 hours longer than normal people and then was awake 2 hours longer as well. Naturally, it shifted in comparison to the earths cycle, so as far as the thread is concerned: Basically everything at one point or another.

This is pretty much true for me. When your entire family works night shift, you tend to do everything you do of a morning in the dead of night. Showers at 3AM? Dinner at midnight? Nothing is out of the ordinary in the graveyard shift.

Well, gawsh, mayonnaise, I wasn't looking to turn this into a Twilight Zone thread. What are we gonna do next, travel back in time on a plane moving 3,000MPH and see dinosaurs? Also, eating breakfast (chicken selects) at 12:48PM.

Varies on whether or not you own a home.

I went to Denny's with my friend at 3 a.m. once. It was pretty fun except that we were both pretty tired and didn't feel like eating much.

That was more or less staple in college. Denny's owners/workers don't appreciate D&D style tabletop gaming being performed at those hours, though. Nuts to them; if they hadn't kicked us out they would have gotten a nice tip.

I usually shower at 2am in the summer. Lets see...
I also demonstrated how I have no upper body strength by doing pushups at 3 am.
Held a "mini rave" at my house at 1 am because I didn't like my neighbors because they were always loud and obnoxious so me and my friend put two subwoofers on the floor and started playing some bouncy techno.

Though, something my dad did was on Christmas Eve, he got up at 3 am, an hour before I usually sneak into the living room and look at all my presents, and grilled a burger on the George Foreman.
Because: He was really freaken hungry.

So am I the only one who actually sleeps in the middle of the night?
Apart from when I'm coming from a gig or something, but I'm not doing anything special then.

Sometimes when I'm awake way past midnight, I'd feel energetic enough that, should I go to the bathroom, I'll work out. I've even brushed my teeth that lately a few times.

It's 9:51AM and I am SOOOO damn tired. I'm going to go to sleep and wake up late then stay up all night and then be pissed at myself for falling asleep at 9:51AM.

Let me see...

10:30 PM: Went into a movie theater, bought a bucket of popcorn and left.

Around the same time another night: went into Staples around closing time and went to the "office snacks" section and bought a 2 pound back of sour patch kids.

10:00 PM: Hiked up a (rather small) mountain under a full moon.

Me and my friend were hungry, and we were waiting for the last bus back to where we live, and I had enough money to buy some popcorn. Besides, life is more fun when you do odd things.

My dad used to work night shift, so in the summer I'd say up late and we'd hang out and do "normal" shit at like 1 AM, even stuff like walking around town or driving up to the stores that were open
