So I noticed in the 'The Official Photo Thread ' that quite a lot of people wear glasses. Do you?

I went to the opticians once to try contacts once.
Basically I was in a dark room with a miserable creepy fat man trying to poke me in the eye.
naturally each time he lent over to "poke" me in the eye, my head jolted backwards, even as much at to make me constantly whack my head against the wall behind to escape his chubby finger.
He then got really pissed off with me, threw the contacts away angrily and he was all complaining about shit.

screw you fool!, how you like it if I poked you in they eye! >:(

I'm nearsighted, so I need to wear glasses. I have the kind that turn into sunglasses when I'm outside, but are normal glasses inside.

My eyesight isn't that great, I think I'm a bit nearsighted. I can barely read most text on a blackboard when sitting in the front row. Maybe a row behind if I squint really hard. Still, it's not so much of a problem that I need to wear glasses.

I think I fit in with the crowd that wears glasses. I basically only ever where them if I leave the house or have to look at the tiny ****ing TV in the living room. Seriously, why'd all the big ones have to break?

My vision is fine, but without glasses I get absolutely the worst splitting headaches. I have astigmatism and it means my eyeballs are funny shaped and my muscles have to work harder to make them focus or something like that.

Usually in the weekends I only wear them when watching tv. But it should be better to wear them all day.Especially with watching at my monitor and stuff.


I have been thinking about contact lenses, but I've been wearing glasses since I was 8 so I'm pretty used to them and don't feel like poking in my eyes to get those lenses in and out.

Glasses are basically the single sexiest accessory there is.

-3.75 on both sides, here. It won't take much longer 'till I can unironically claim I'm blind without them, because I'm already basically helpless as far as anything more than a metre or so away from me is concerned.
