It's literally gone from being one of the best anime in decades for S1 to being utterly unremarkable and bereft of anything resembling talented production in S2. It's a good example of how a great manga source won't necessarily make a great anime. There has to be talent to back it up.
Don't forget excessive ghosting frames. I'm sure ONE is displeased. When a new episode comes out ONE always makes a little drawing on Twitter, with Saitama yawning or looking uninterested or something like that. It is a shame having a godly 1st season to a mediocre 2nd. Just switch to the manga at this point, it actually has better animation than the anime.

Oh don't you worry, I've been reading the manga religiously since I watched S1. I even made a poll thread when I started watching.

In gay baby jail, all they had to read was anime. I haven't been the same since. ;(

Seriously though, I haven't watched anime in a while. I want to watch the Castlevania anime on Netflix (hopefully it's good), and maybe some others I can find. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to watch?

Fruits Basket is currently airing, it's a must-watch.

I've read the first two (collected editon) volumes of Chi's Sweet Home.
It is the most adorable thing.

listen, i need to spread the word about melody of oblivion. it's this show that nobody likes and everyone writes reviews where they complain about it being too weird and boring and trash everything that makes it awesome. melody of oblivion is awesome and crazy. BUT, if you've never watched utena, you should watch it first because it's better. the two shows share a lot of staff (and ideas), so you might as well watch utena instead if you could choose between either.

Longtime friend recently got me and my ex to sit down with him and watch the entire "That Time I Was Reincarnated As a Slime" season 1 over a week or so. It was amazingly fun and I laughed quite a lot. I really hope season 2 goes off without any problems. There were a couple moments where the fanservice went too far, but otherwise one of the best anime shows I've watched in years.

After getting Attack On Titan's Opening 5, time to make a playlist where it only plays a chronological order of Linked Horizon songs played in the anime. Yay me!!

Thanks!

I found the first two volumes of A Silent Voice at a library and, man, the feels. All of them. I feel like my heart was going to melt.

Also, apparently, it was made into a movie. I didn't know that. Cool.

Edit: Oh Man, I just noticed I already posted about manga a few weeks ago! I'm such a dumb dumb!
