This Friday, episode 1 of Takashi Murakami's Six Hearts Princess anime is finally airing! They didn't actually finish it, but the deadline is here so they're just going to air line art on TV! Yeah!

Well, I watched the Fate TV movie cartoon. It was a D/D+. ufotable didn't animate it, that could have easily put it at a C, but the story was kinda boring, none of the characters were fleshed out (you have seen these exact characters in literally every anime ever), and the action scenes suffered from an intense case of not being animated by ufotable. 6/10, it was okay.

Hey, I finally have a reason to post here, how about that

I tried watching a bunch of different anime over the last few days and most of them were either boring as hell or not my cup of tea. Then I found Yuru Yuri. The cast get into some pretty funny antics, but the main reason I kept watching showed up in episode 2. There's a lot of fanservice and random perversion going on and dis girl is one of the bigger perverts, although not as grabby as one of the four main characters.

Her schtick as a character is that by removing her glasses, she starts daydreaming about her friends in lewd situations, nosebleeding in the process. At one point, she even does it through a full-body costume while cosplaying at an event. She's also got a twin sister that's just as perverted and both of them are freaking adorable

Also I watched the four Persona 3 movies. They were alright

Yo

Reminder to always watch Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Start before Part 5 gets announced and we get another 2-cour season.

And if you're a fan of voice-actors, watch Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju.

Well, Fuuka doesn't have the experimental art style that the poster gives off, but I like it quite a bit. Screw the ecchi stuff, but it does have a good bit in common with its parent series, Suzuka (which I liked a lot as well). Until I remembered the Suzuka connection, I figured it'd just be K-On with pantsu, but considering Suzuka was a straight, one-way romance series, I can easily see Fuuka becoming one of my favorites. It's also my expected AOTS now, though the characters are pretty bland (I swear there are no interesting characters these days). I'm gonna be leaving Rakugo show out of my AOTS picks because come on, that's just not fair. Like cesspool, I would also recommend it, but also if you like stand-up comedy and maybe learning a bit about Japanese culture. I LOVE stand-up comedy, and rakugo is basically just that but with a long story where the storyteller has to change up voices for each character. The first season also had a shitload of drama, so don't be scared (homie) if rakugo sounds kinda boring to you.

Alright, I've read the Fuuka manga a bit, and I now know for a fact this will be my anime of the season. If you're skipping Fuuka, you're SERIOUSLY missing out and risk getting spoiled.

The Dragon Dentist, an upcoming two-episode anime, is directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki (FLCL) and written by Yoji Enokido (FLCL). Why this isn't a big deal to more people, I do not understand. I guess people only care about pedo moe adaptations now. Please check it out if you want to see something by some classic GAINAX contributors. Tsurumaki and Enokido are very unrecognized as creators, but they have their hands in a lot of psychological classics.

So half of what I've been watching the last few months has been a string of crap that I've been following from MAL "You Might Like" recommendations.

I think I finally found a gem.

Humanity has Declined, at least so far as I've watched, has actually been really interesting.

Now that I finished Part 4 I decided to watch yet another pretty popular anime: Full Metal Alchemist (Brotherhood).

So far it's pretty interesting, and despite everyone having western names, the japanese version has a lot of charm.

Humanity has Declined was cute, silly, and a little bit dark.
I really liked it. Would recommend.

I just watched the Slayers OVAs, that show is still funny as fuck. Especially Book of Spells 1.

Wow, Yami Shibai is shockingly awful this season. Even season 3 (which I considered the worst) is way better. It's now a horror show for literal babies.

It'll happen, as will Part 6. My guess? We'll hear an announcement after the film drops. Possible Fall season or Spring 2018 for Part 5, Spring or Fall 2019 for Part 6.

Part 7 and 8 are probably never, though.

Well, this sure is something. Looks like Fuuka isn't going with the same big twist that the manga goes for. Probably means it won't be getting another season either. Anyways, since the twist is never gonna happen, I'll just say that I found the melodrama of the manga to be absolutely hilarious. It's like a soap opera most of the time. I just can't help but find the big twist to be the funniest damn thing. But the anime isn't doing it, so I guess it won't be my anime of the season after all. Kuzu no Honkai does a far better job of being a soap opera and is ten thousand times smuttier. Masamune-kun's Revenge is probably my AotS at this point (again, outside of Rakugo cause that show is too good and also a second season).
