Re: Talkhaus' Bizarre Adventure (anime/manga thread)
It's become apparent why I stopped at only episode 11 last time I decided to watch digimon data squad/savers. Something about the plot of it and the amount of hate in it just sort of... throws me off? I dunno it just feels off to me.
If there's one thing the series has going for it, I do think the fact that the main character punches the digimon hilarious.
I might end up stopping again.

Re: Talkhaus' Bizarre Adventure (anime/manga thread)
Double posting because I just finished up Savers.
My thoughts are sort of annoyed on this one. The reason why is going in a spoiler because it's spoilerish.
Just like with tamers, I have only two chars I really liked. (Tamers was Culumon and Impmon) in this case
All in all it just felt so... eh. I'd probably put it with Tamers in the one's I just felt meh about.
For that I have Adventures and Frontier in the top layer, then Adventures 2 because it really closed out the first two fairly well, then tamers and savers.
So yeah that's my spiel on the whole thing.

Re: Talkhaus' Bizarre Adventure (anime/manga thread)
I've never read the Spice and Wolf manga, but I've watched the anime and read the novels. I actually just got volume 13 of the novels in the mail today. I really like the series but it's been hard to follow the novels since Yen Press releases them at such large intervals (it used to be two a year and now it's three, which sounds like a lot, but I keep forgetting what happened in the last book since they only take a day or so to read.

(^watched the sub^)
OH! I just remembered one of my favorite animus
Kino's Journey
It's based off a series of light novels, and is super neat and makes you think
Shiki is neat, where Japan does vampires in a correct, yet different way.
DISCLAIMER: Do NOT watch if you are squeamish. D:
God. I was not prepared for the show. Although it's not the goriest, the context makes it probably more upsetting than anything I've ever watched

Note: I'm kinda a wimp when it comes to horror-type things, so let that act as a indicator of sorts. But still, if you're not disturbed by the end, I'm calling the police :3

Considering they haven't finished the manga and the fact that the novel is the source material (also much more engaging) I'd suggest you read the novels and definitely give the anime a watch. Seriously though guys give the dub a watch!

S'good stuff. I should grab the soundtrack sometime, there was some reeeeally swell music work in there. One of L's themes obviously being the best, though some of the more choral tracks rank hiiiiigh up there.FluffiMasta wrote:Help me

Talkhaus' Bizarre Adventure (anime/manga thread)
Heh, I still prefer Near's Theme over L's somehow, but it's a really good soundtrack indeed.
EDIT: I found both Soundtracks on Youtube, so take a listen if you want.
But to be honest, was track one (called Death Note) used anywhere in the anime?
I think it must have been in the first episode or something like that...

Yeah was just giving you a list of anime I enjoyed when I watched 'em. It's understandable you might not have heard of a lot of them.

I've seen Squid Girl and Pani Poni Dash out of those.
Squid Girl is an amusing slice of life comedy, and well worth a watch. I think the only way to describe Pani Poni Dash is "kind of like Nichijou, but filled with more references than Family Guy".

Now I just need to make sure no protagonist characters get within a 50 mile radius of it...
