Motion Twin: A French internet games company

Post by Sillyman »

So yeah, they're these guys that make games that you can play on the internet. Most of their games work kinda like an arcade that gives you a few tokens free every day, but you can still buy more except you have to buy them in bulk for at least 5 dollars. Also the company is French.

Probably their biggest thing currently is this little doo-dad right here:

http://muxxu.com/

It's a site that lets you link your account to all of their other games, and is very much involved in some of their newer ones, including a game that is a lot like Warioware. But there is no English version, so... have fun translating everything. (I'm still Sillyman over there, in case you were wondering)

They do have some actually-in-English stuff though too, like these few sites:

A bunch of minigames that you try to get high scores in to earn points... which you can then redeem to either buy more minigames, more plays, or Amazon.com/Amazon.fr giftcards. As you can tell, that link there is a referral link... which means if you buy game tokens from them I get some too. It's not much, but... might as well.

Breakout... turned into an RPG. I know, seriously. Apparently the game's coming out with a standalone DSiWare version soon, so that's something.

A platformer that's sorta like Bubble Bobble. Sorta. Also with RPG elements. (who would have guessed) It's not really in active development anymore, but it's still a fun game.

Also, there are a couple of games that let you earn tokens for their other games. (by way of a little code thingy called an MTPass) Unfortunately, they are in French only.

This is a match-3 type game... with RPG elements. Again. Naturalchemist also has an English version, but you can't win MTPasses from that, so I wouldn't bother. Also, see the "classic" in the url? That's because they're coming out with a new version "soon".

Far more likely to get you those code thingies is this thing right here:

This may in fact be the only game Motion Twin has made that doesn't let you buy more game tokens. You're still limited to one play per day, though. It's very much like Pool, except with turtles that turn into energy orbs that then turn into points. You then spend those points at an auction.
And now the coast is clear, I just need to deal... with my number one fan.
Riku~n, why do you keep wanting to murder me like this?
I wouldn't mind that smile so much if your skin wasn't made of poison for some reason.

I've played alphabounce for a while. It was pretty fun but after a while only being able to play 2 games each day (for free) irritated me. And I'm not that much into breakout that I want to spend money on it.

It's actually 3. But yeah, that sometimes gets irritating. Just think of it as a light diversion and spend the rest of your time on some other game, much like how you would play KoL.
