So this one time last year I had no idea that pineapples grew on bushes and asexually. I originally thought they grew on trees like many other yummy citrus fruit. Unfortunately, I found out during a play run through, and I was the spot light person. I found out when my cue was given, and it didn't go down well because I freaked out about the meaning of life because the pineapple I thought I knew and loved was not what I thought it was. For a full 5 minutes, I felt rather betrayed at my way of thinking and hurt by the change that had recently occurred in my life. No longer was my pineapple a majestic citrus fruit of the tree, but torn down to a lowly berry of a shrub. Oh the pain, the agony --

So yeah... that was WAY over dramatized! Seriously, though, it's kind of cool that pineapples grow on bushes. I want to attempt to grow some one day. Anyone have any experience with growing pineapples? If not, then did you know that pineapples are NOT tree citrus fruit and grew on bushes? I had no idea until last year, so don't feel bad if you didn't. :D

I don't like pineapples either. Usually I like sour fruits, but not pineapples. Eww.
Also, "ananas" is a way cooler name than "pineapple". I mean, where are the apples in that thing?

Also, I object here. Don't like pineapples. Two exceptions: When they're really, really well ripened and so sweet the next step is alcohol, and when they're combined with ham (which I also don't like individually) and cheese!

I know canned Pineapples are disgusting, though. The real stuff is a lot better.
