Windows does a terrible job at handling side-by-side monitors with different resolutions. I bought a 4k monitor a few months ago, and it's great but my other monitor is 1080p, and using both of these at the same time absolutely wrecks the quality of text on the 1080p monitor. There's a bunch of weird issues that weren't there before I got the 4k monitor. So I guess I'll just have to get another 4k monitor at some point if I want a decent dual-monitor experience again.

I don't know if it's an issue regarding 4k monitors in particular or not but I've never really noticed a huge problem. (I have three monitors but they range in resolution from 1366x768 to 2560x1440.) Have you tried messing with your ClearType settings? Though thinking on it, if the subpixel order is different between the monitors that could be the source of your problem. If that's the issue though I'm not sure if there even is a way to fix it. As far as I'm aware, monitors don't report subpixel ordering to the OS to begin with.

Hey can one of you visual art types teach me how to do small (20x20ish) sprites? Like, actually good sprites, not the circles with faces I tend towards.

So, a remake reboot or some whatever type thing of Jumanji is coming out some time.
But it's a video game instead of a board game.
Although, in my opinion, I feel that a huge drawing factor for Jumanji is that it was actually happening.
Also they have special powers because video game.

1. use a simple pallete
2. the pallete has to have high contrast, to keep focus
3. squish squash things, proportions arent much of an issue

No reasoning on the MS site for why, but my guess is they'll push people to using Paint3D instead.

Paint is just a standalone .exe, you can steal one from freaking windows XP and use it if you want
