Cashed in 21 moons on Wooded Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey!
For a list of the ones I got today (I had some left over from last session):
The Nut at the Dead End
Cracked Nut on a Crumbling Tower
The Nut that Grew on the Tall Fence
Hey Out There, Captain Toad!
Inside a Rock in the Forest
Spinning-Platforms Treasure
Make the Secret Flower Field Bloom
Rolling Rock in the Deep Woods
Glowing in the Deep Woods
Past the Peculiar Pipes
By the Babbling Brook in the Deep Woods
The Hard Rock in Deep Woods
A Treasure Made from Coins
Beneath the Roots of the Moving Tree
Deep Woods Treasure Trap
Deep Woods is terrible and I didn't like it much. Low visibility and a weird layout. Also how would you even find it without a hint?

Also made it past Den Heldar and the North Tower, and fought the Thief in Trisken in Guardian's Crusade. Gained a few levels too in preparation for the journey ahead, gonna gain a few more tomorrow, I use the on map enemy encounters turning yellow and smaller as confirmation that I'm good to go.

And lastly, I've made it past Emulator Zone and into Guild Galad in Wild ARMs 2. Caina is a pretty good boss, some damaging moves that keep you on your toes, but Kanon is not a very well designed boss for a standard Ashley-Lilka-Tim party with no real Up P Defend building on the Personal Skills, you just get clobbered. But I persevered (aka got lucky).

Now to think on what I'm gonna play tomorrow. Hopefully I can get up early to get some progress on Megami Tensei 2, maybe FF7 or Pokémon Red. I also wanted to play MMX7 but it's too late for that.

About 20 hours into Chrono Trigger, still going strong. Fought Spekkio ver. 3 and quicksand pit boss today (I'd look up their names but I don't wanna get spoiled). I was afraid I'd need to grind in order to have a chance since they were both absolutely wrecking me, but I managed to persevere and emerge victorious. That was really satisfying.

Kinda struggling to decide on a preferred party setup, instead I'm constantly switching out party members. Frog is definitely a favorite though

Oh yeah, I'm also trying to get all the emeralds in Sonic Advance 2 without using guides because apparently I don't value my time

It's been a week but I feel rude for never responding. I appreciate your blessing :slow:

Melphyx. In the SNES version he's Retinite.

Anyway no prob! I need to play Cross myself. Probably once I'm done with a few of my backlog. It's a really weird game though, very much different from Trigger in almost every way. Also, Chrono Trigger is a game where you mostly don't need to grind when played casually unless you want to unlock techs, so don't worry. Just keep at it.

Oh yeah that's the one, thanks!

Yeah, mostly my concern is that I'll stubbornly butt my head into an optional boss that I'm not supposed to be able to beat yet, but so far it doesn't seem to be much of an issue. I do want all the techs but I'm content with naturally unlocking them throughout the course of the game

Got a few more stars in Super Mario 64, wrapping up Tall Tall Mountain and Tiny Huge Island to obtain 104 stars. Tiny Huge Island was enjoyable, considering I avoided Big Bertha and mostly stuck to the tiny island, but Tall Tall Mountain was pretty annoying. Honestly a big low point of the game. I've opened the top floor and got the Toad star there, will continue sometime later.

While in Digimon World, I've recruited Drimogemon by accident (just found him in another entrance to the Drill Tunnel), defeated the first round against Garurumon, finished the trades with two of the Mojyamon (made sure to keep the money farming one in the southwest not for last so he doesn't leave for the city and can still trade with him), LEOMON HAS PASSED, got Botamon, got him sick and met Frigimon, got Koromon, got Gabumon, tried to get Garurumon but got Drimogemon because I'm bad at raising monsters and I'll try to head to Geko Swamp next time to get the Amazing Rod, then recruit some folk in Misty Trees.

I've stocked up on cards so I should be good for the Amazing Rod. And if it's not enough I can always head back to the city, get some Med Recovers and trade them for S. Def. Disks thanks to Mojyamon and sell them back for extra money. I might later try to get the Blue Flute to get to Beetle Land to get the Green Gym upgraded.

Beat Splash Warfly, got all the Reploids in his stage and accidentally got the Heart Tank as Axl in Mega Man X7. Unlocked X and got the Feet Parts. I was gonna get the capsule in Wind Crowrang, but I got kind of annoyed at the game.

Geared up at Kueri, went through Roron, got the Jet Scooter, geared up at Piata and gained a few levels, recruited some more characters (they join by going back home everytime you reach a new town), stole some stuff from the armory for Amy and Kain with the help of Shur, levelled Shur to level 10 so she could swipe a Visiphone so I could save anywhere, went through Uzo to get Maruera Leaves for the Maruera Gum, went through Climatrol with the help of a guide, fought Neifirst and

lost Nei forever :c

, levelled up Kain and went through the Control Tower in Piata. I'll be doing the dams next time in Phantasy Star 2!

Lastly, I went through Abandoned Icebox, Shining Garden and Dark Reason to get some Mediums, then visited the Closed Mine Shaft north of Holst. Fought Kanon again (so stronk) and then fought Judecca as Kanon. Now Kanon's a part of my team. And that's what I did in Wild ARMs 2. I would have played more, but it's getting late.

Getting annoyed at the game is the authentic Mega Man X7 experience!

Fall Guys is still fun. It's basically my go-to game when I'm taking a break on editing stuff.

I actually forget if her name is Shir or Shur. She’s not on my main party so. Also MMX7 is kind of a really dumb game. I don’t hate it but it’s very painfully average.

Played Trials of Mana today! Got kidnapped by the Beastmen, escaped with Angela, did her backstory, went to Maia, fought the Machine Golems R, took a detour through Dwarf Village to find Watts and fought Jewel Eater. Got the Nitromyte and made it to Molebear Moors. Party's at level 12.

Which version? Original or the remake?

Continuing through Kingdom Hearts. I've cleared Atlantica and am debating whether I want to go straight through to Halloween Town or if I want to at least try to stop off at Neverland first (on the one hand, Gliding would make HT so much easier, on the other hand Glide is at the very end of Neverland and I don't think I'm even allowed to disembark there until the 2nd orbit is done?)

Remake.

Pirated it due to saving money though

.

I'm heading to Gusthall in Chapter 2 now. Party's at Level 16.

Nearly at the end of Final Fantasy Tactics' first chapter. At Fovoham Plains. Gonna grind and get some more abilities to prepare for later battles. Maybe work on Time Mage and Monk. Not sure about Oracle, I need to check out FF Wiki for some ability descriptions.

Ramza and the generics I mainly use are Knight (Ramza)/Knight/Black Mage/White Mage.

Game's pretty fun~

Nah, keep it in the right thread. Not a warning or anything, but if we have a thread for it, use that one. Anyway, congrats. Books are cool.

About at the end of playing Fall Guys now. Did everything I wanted to in this first season since there's no way I want to even try for the five wins in a row deal with some of the individual games out there. Maybe Dragon Quest Heroes is next? Not really sure. Also finished recording the rest of the Mega Man 2 stuff I needed to at long last.

Been flying through JUMP the past few days. I never played it myself and I hadn't really been exposed to it since raocow's LP of it years ago (How was that four years ago already?) so most of it has been a fresh experience because I don't remember too much of it. I'm at the end of World 4, I had to do some clean-up with Yoshi Coins in the earlier worlds however. I forgot they actually unlocked things so I was only gathering them if they weren't hidden/difficult to reach. Thankfully, they are saved after they are collected so I didn't have to beat each level in one go.

I've reached Neverland in Kingdom Hearts. It turns out that the game does not let you disembark here while other worlds in the Second Orbit are unfinished (and you need the High Jump to finish it, so no endlessly skipping Monstro either)

The blue channel somewhere in my setup chain is dying out somewhere. It's not the PS2's cord that's dying, I checked that, it's either my switcher itself or the cord going from my switcher to the TV, but pinning down where the point of failure is is not something I can do an hour before going to sleep. So I guess that's my Wednesday Project for the week. The upshot of all this is that switching Pb and Pr (or: switching U and V) produces an interesting effect, especially with Kingdom Hearts.

playing thru songbird symphony, it's like the bird version of wandersong tbh
less of a talky/narrative game but it's a 2D platformer thingy that's very cute and you're a bird that goes around and sings and plays rhythm minigames

I just grinded in Final Fantasy Tactics,,, Trying out monks as Ramza and Ian (one of my generics) and they're super good in terms of raw attack. I think they're weaker in terms of defense tho :c Unlocked Cure 2 for Holly (generic, currently a Priest), Fire 2, Ice 2, Poison for Kyomi (also generic, Wizard), and I'm levelling Chamberlain, Meera and Walter in levels and Job Points (generics, Squire, Squire, and previously Chemist, but now Squire as I try to get Gained JP Up) since I didn't use them much. Unlocked Gained JP Up for Chamber, Throw Stone for Meera and Phoenix Down for Walter. Hope I remember to buy some Potions tomorrow.

So far I have Squire, Chemist, Knight, Archer, Monk, Priest, Wizard, Oracle, Time Mage and Geomancer unlocked for most characters.

Recently been playing Darksiders. My PC screws up the cut scenes and I'm too lazy to figure out how to fix it; it's not that big of a deal since the in-game graphics are fine.
I've completed the first two dungeons, and I really hope this isn't a game where the first level is the best. The first dungeon is better than the second in just about every way; it has a cooler theme and aesthetic (a gothic cathedral/crypt/prison/castle/volcano vs a dilapidated subway station) cooler set pieces, a reoccurring theme with it's puzzles (grabbing swords from statues to place them on other statues to unlock stuff) and a cooler more interesting boss (I could write another post detailing why Tiamat is both a better fight and character than The Griever).

The second dungeon doesn't even have a mid-boss unlike the first.
