What games are you playing?
Re: What games are you playing?
I'm playing a lot of Rust right now, it's kinda fun, but i expect to lose motivation soon (i think the server wipe is this week). Also after watching Oatbrans recent Valdis Story: Abyssal City videos, i decided to finally finish the game... by restarting it :D

its an entire different approach to parsing, implementing a programming language, and programming in general so if youre interested i recommend it

Re: What games are you playing?
I've got one last fight to unlock in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. Should have that one beaten before the weekend. Fun game that's free, although I think I did drop around $4 on it to speed things up just a bit.
Re: What games are you playing?
Kirby's been beaten, and because of raocow's playthrough of it, I'm now going through Plague of Shadows myself. Didn't know the physical version got Specter of Torment along with Plague's campaign. Fun stuff, but I'm missing three coins so far. Uh, you watched the whole playthrough, dude. That shouldn't happen to you. Oh well!
Re: What games are you playing?
I've been playing I Wanna Get Cultured recently, since raocow apparently wants to play its sequel and I wanted to know what it was all about. I didn't play the second one right away because I have this weird thing where I don't want to play games in a series out of order, and also because it's supposed to be somewhat easier than Cultured 2.
This is actually the first fangame that I've played (I've never really gotten all that far into the original IWBTG) and so far it's been more fun that I thought it'd be! There's something rewarding about finally making that stupid jump that you've been hung up on for over 15 minutes, although there are definitely some frustrating moments as well.
I think what I like about it is that it's a compilation of completely different games, so even if one screen doesn't appeal to you and you just want to get it done, you can be sure that the next screen will be something completely different. So far the game has been really good at alternating "simple" platforming challenges with more gimmicky stuff. The "humor" is kind of cringeworthy though.
A lot of the reviews on the download page complain that it's too easy, but man, as a newcomer some of these screens were really, really tough to do and I'm only halfway through the game (so I know that it'll get much worse from here on out).
I'm also glad that the first game doesn't have any bosses, because from what I remember from IWBTG those were always super hard for me. It'll be interesting to see raocow struggle with those in the sequel when he plays it!

Re: What games are you playing?
The ARMS Testpunch is interesting. So far I'm playing mostly as Ribbon Girl.
The stairs stage is the worst, especially in anything greater than 1v1.
It's a bit difficult to get some good synergy in 2v2 with your partner.
Honestly, I have a lot of fun just playing. I think I might get it.

Beat Plague of Shadows a few nights ago and am kind of just taking it easy right now. One day, I'll start one of these 3DS games that have been piling up around me the last year or so.

I started playing WoW to see how it is. I still prefer the GW2, though this game has had some neat moments too, and the world feels fairly huge. Kind of wish there were more people in the guild though.

I started playing Super Mario 64 legitimately for the first time. I quite enjoy it, especially now that I understand the controls.

I beat Fire Emblem Gaiden last week, fun game. Most likely not gonna play the remake though. Been slowly progressing through FE1, Dark Dragon and the Sword of Light on NES. on Chapter 16, but I feel my motivation to finish the game waning greatly even though there's only like 9 chapters left

Persona 5.
What a way to spend 150 hours. It was quite the ride, and well worth the wait.
I'm really gonna miss it.

Have plenty of other games I'd like to finish, first of all.
Re: What games are you playing?
Is it really that long compared to the last two? Both Persona 3 and Persona 4 took me around 70 or so hours. (Actually it was closer to 60 for P4.)TheFinalSentinel wrote: ↑6 years agoPersona 5.

I was playing on Merciless (and may have left my PS3 on overnight once or twice).Alice wrote: ↑6 years agoIs it really that long compared to the last two? Both Persona 3 and Persona 4 took me around 70 or so hours. (Actually it was closer to 60 for P4.)TheFinalSentinel wrote: ↑6 years agoPersona 5.

It's definitely longer though. The times I've seen from friends and streamers and such are usually around 100, 110 or so.
Re: What games are you playing?
Huh, interesting. Despite the fact 70 hours seems like a lot, when it comes to a series like Persona it's actually not. So more game is definitely good. Though for me I'll have to wait to see if it actually does come to pc or not which is still totally up in the air. I don't have a ps4 and don't intend to get one for just one game, even if it's a Persona game.TheFinalSentinel wrote: ↑6 years agoI was playing on Merciless (and may have left my PS3 on overnight once or twice).

Re: What games are you playing?
i got arms today and its really fun
so far i've enjoyed minmim and kid cobra the most - i definitely need to unlock the sparky or thunderbird for minmin because it's probably really strong on her left arm if it becomes permacharged because shocked = free grab. aside from that the hydra is really good and probably the best anti-air arm.

I AM VERY DISGUSTED WITH THE TRASHY MAN. IN SPITE OF THE MONSTER, AND THE COACH, ONLY TRASHY, I WILL BEAT DOWN THEM ALL. FOR THIS I MUST STRENGTHEN MYSELF. THE MONSTER IS THE SAME TOO. COLLECT ALL THE TRASHY, RIGHTEOUS FELLOW ARE ALL UNPARDONABLE! YOU DON'T AFFECT ME. THE TRASHY STROLLING IS AN EYESORE!

Re: What games are you playing?
I picked up Persona 5.
It's just what I needed! An excellent turn-based RPG.

I wasn't expecting Morgana to transform into a car, though.

Re: What games are you playing?
Hmm... I just finished Chrono Cross and Lufia II : Rise of the Sinistrals which are turn-based Japanese RPG, so I found another JRPG. The first one is Tales of Phantasia and the other one is Star Ocean. They are really similar. These two have VOICE. But I finished ToP a year ago so now I am playing Star Ocean. It is NOT turn-based RPG. Battle system is Active Battle like Seiken Densetsu series. Yep, I am playing Star Ocean Eng by DeJap V1.0.smc
