I do have to say, the big twist was entirely different than I thought it was going to be. At first I was disappointed at what happened, but they turned it around in the end.

Now back to Dark Souls I guess. Then probably Bayonetta.

I've been playing my first beat-em-up aka Castle Crashers with my sis and it was super duper fun. Not sure if we'll do insane mode or not, but does anyone have some recommendations for some other good 2 player games that can run on somewhat low specs?

Started up LA Noire yesterday to give it a try. First couple cases went by really fast, came to realize they were most likely tutorial cases as they only took like 5 minutes to do more often than not.

Had my first real case today, it's a pretty fun game. :3

Edit: On another note, I'm really bad at talking to witnesses/suspects. XD

Wow this game is really fun. I wish I had any compositional talent to be able to make courses of my own, but oh well. And I beat the one-life stage rush on my first try!

Played a PS1 Shmup called Harmful Park, maybe I've gotten better at SHMUPs or the game is just really easy but I managed to beat the whole game on my first run through, no continues.

I have a bias towards SHMUPS that are possible for humans to beat.

Also Cyberbots Fullmetal Madness is an awesome fighting game.

I have become addicted to Cook, Serve, Delicious. The days when the buzz goes over 100% are the best.

I also recently started a playthrough of Dragon Age: Origins, but eh. So far, I'm not really a fan of the way it plays; it seems like a lot of using timestop to micromanage dumb AIs. I might do a playthrough on casul to experience the story and then skip out on the relative jank that seems to be the combat system.

I also got Enter the Gungeon. I am soul-crushingly awful at it.

I did break down and buy it, but I've actually been playing Hearthstone more, since it's there in battle.net and just appeals to me more.

I do like the new brawl mode, or whatever it's called, in Overwatch. It's just more fun for me, possibly due to lack of skill.

I'm almost done getting 100% on Hamtaro: Ham Ham Heartbreak since it was one of my childhood games that I lost many years ago. Nice to play something that isn't demanding in the slightest for a change, haha~

Having finished Mother 1, I've started Earthbound, which is very good so far. There's a ton of tongue-and-cheek dialogue that isn't too grating, and it just feels good to play so far. I've just stopped in at the Happy place, which is basically the home of the Blue Oyster Cult.

Been playing Cally's Caves 3 a whole bunch. It's a little bit like a 2d Ratchet and Clank since it has weapons which upgrade with use, and that aspect of 'gotta get all the upgrades' has me hooked.

It's honestly a strictly better pokemon so far

I started replaying Kindred Spirits (finally) and playing it in a linear fashion rather than the non-linear way it presents itself as you're playing. Kinda interesting way to play it so far.

Whelp shoulda expected it but LA Noire took a rather depressing turn, I think I'm nearing the end of the game though.

I decided to try a nightmare Achilles run on DT3 because apparently I'm insane or lacking in brain cells. I did a lot better than I was honestly expecting. I had 214 deaths in the hour and 50 minutes it took me to get from the beginning of the game to the end of the first gate. 23 of those were on Bowser and 31 on Cackletta despite the fact that about half of my deaths against her were because I was screwing around way too much. In fact the most difficult part of the first gate was the bullet bill hell room which accounts for about as many deaths as Bowser and Cackletta combined.
