lunar expand

hey guys i'm a relatively new user to the talkhaus and i'm not sure if this is even the right place to post this but i couldn't think of any better place

so i recently got into playing smw rom hacks, but i haven't been able to figure out how to use lunar expand to play hacks that require it (i.e. demo world)

i use my macbook pro OS X version 10.7.3 (lion) and if anyone can help me with this problem or show me where to find help it would be greatly appreciated!

Expand the clean ROM to 6 MB, then patch the Super Demo World IPS.

I'm not sure if Lunar Expand exists for iOS, but I know Lunar IPS does.

i downloaded lunar ips for mac, but it is a .sit file and just open up text edit with a bunch of nonsense when i try to open it

also i'm 99% sure lunar expand doesn't exist for iOS

.sit's a Stuffit Expander file. Open it with Stuffit Expander.
(Sidenote, seriously folks, all the Mac folks use dmg files now it's like sheesh come on I suppose you want us to crank up the record player before playing mp3s?)

I used UIPS last time I was patching or stuff on Mac, though. I don't think it handles expansion, sadly.

I think you might be able to expand the ROM from Lunar Magic to whatever the hack's readme says and then patch it.
