Yeah. Not really a bug, but still notable. When you carry the P-Switch from the last area into the pipe, and run into the goal with it, the turnip/radish gets stuck up there. Try to set it so Demo cannot carry an item into that area. :) Problem solved then.
All the issues I found were put in spoil tags. :D

It's a difficult hack, but something I could enjoy on some downtime.

Level 2: The porcupuffers. If you hit the crumble blocks just right you can kill both of the ones at that point and make a good portion of the level really easy from then on.

I am tempted to leave it as is, in a way. I mean, it is level 2, it wouldn't be a bad thing to have an 'out' for peeps who can figure that trick out, I think.

I've only played the first three levels of the latest patch so far. Gotta say I really like it. Unusual music, original graphics, lots of good ideas. Echoing the 'very hard' sentiment. One way of making it more palatable might be breaking up the levels some more. IMO, all of the sublevels in 'sand forest theatre' is good enough for a level in itself.

Whatever, here are all the graphical and other bugs I found (not all of which affect playability):
Image now here
Image now not; boo cloud sometimes stops moving as well
Image sometimes just a block, sometimes just wings
Image safe to land...
Image where did he come from?
Image should be arbitrary
Image is the cloud meant to be unoccupied?
Image these three guys apparate when I kill the cloud guy
Image bouncing on noteblock
Image if I didn't have a shell to kill myself how do I escape?
Image where's my vine?
Image ditto
Image ditto

version 0.4. Attempt at adressing everything mentioned up to now except the squashed p-switch.

I'm also not sure what to do about the note block, since that's not the only stage it's an issue. I'm tempted to leave them be as, well, the stages affected would be completely and utterly different if I changed the spritesets, right?

It's a concession that I'm ready to make, at least.

You can fix it with ExGFX (in some cases) as the noteblock graphic is in GFX13. I know it conflicts with eeries and pencils, but if there's none of those in those levels, there's no reason really not to fix it
I'm on Twitter and Discord so say hi to me on there cause I like to vanish from here forever repeatedly also I have sigs off so I can make my sig as ugly as I want and it won't bother me this is my sig btw

Oh, is that so?

Since my problem seems to be constantly be noteblocks and castle-stuff.

Dang it, I have to buckle down and understand how to work ExGFX.

Just get GFX13, copy the noteblock, then paste it in the same spot in your castle/ghost GFX then save it as ExGFX###.bin

Also if you are doing that anyway, you might be able to use hex to change where the eerie graphics point to and have both eeries and noteblocks

Just finished version 3. Initially I feared the oil cave wouldn't be possible, but somehow...then, the fish bouncing in the goat house. However, having got through that, my guess is the Yoshi house isn't supposed to scroll vertically, right? Baby Yoshi wouldn't even eat the berries I could see.

Other issues:
Image
got there from underneath as layer 2 scrolled down
Image
I get hit by the blaarg and this apears under me
Image
hardly an issue really
Image
I hit him, he went for a walk and ended up there
Image
invisble coin block remains invisible somehow; also strange thing with coins in this whole area - I'd collect them (hear the sound) but they stayed visible
Image
can pass through the block from underneath, after couple of tries you can interact with it
Image
what do I do? *scrolls screen*...
Image
...oh, there it is
Image
thought it was funny you could eat your reset door
Image
these blocks are weird; standing still here
Image
fell through the apex
Image
ball at top of screen is glitched very slightly here
Image
sometimes when restarting this area, this happens
Image
invisible flying platform
Image
I'm standing in the top left of the pipe
Image
this is as far as the house scrolls when I get out, Yoshi won't eat the berries and...
Image
...the chimney kills me
dont wanna jihad no more

I love it. I hate it.
It should be nicknamed Kaizo Mario 3.
No hub at the top? What the hell?
Very appropriate title.
Ahhh, the level length. It burns.
I would make a terrible LPer, I gave up on the second level about here.

Dang it, the music block has the same space as the swinging mace!
So I can't really replace it in a lot of spots, including the wood level.

You can use something like these custom blocks. I really like them.
These are bouncy

Or you can go in translhextion and remap the bounce block sprite to some spot that's unused, do you use the coin game cloud coin? you can remap it to that and have the bounce block fixed for all levels.

x113F0

$02:91F0 8 bytes Sprite tilemap related Block bounce sprite tiles

40 - Turn Block
6B - Note Block
2A - ?-Block
42 - Unused Side Bounce Turn Block (40)
EA - Glass Block
8A - ON/OFF Block

My tutorial on how to remap tiles on custom sprites can actually help you know what to remap it to.

No it doesn't, it takes up the moving spike graphic like I said. The mace is on SP4 and the noteblock uses SP3

I think I'm doing something wrong.

I created ExGFX80, loaded it up with SP3 on level 3, and I still get the glitched up note blocks.

I'm sorry if this is getting frustrating, but there are these things that just don't click with me and I'm really getting disapointed with myself here.

Ok I may have been slightly wrong about it, but you had the noteblock graphic just a little too far to the left

If you have this problem again you can just look at the glitch and then open up YY-CHR to see what its loading
