Hi guys, I'm new to romhacks, and as part of a class I was going to try and make a couple levels. As part of the project, I would have to document the process and actually produce a workable product. Would you guys think this would work?

that's way too general to be able to determine whether it would work. That is, if you meant if it would be acceptable. You didn't even tell us what class this is for.
