I'm at world 4 right now, it's pretty good. The robot WRECKS EVERYONE'S SHIT. Also Jet IS in here, I also found another power that I haven't seen in a while in a sort-of hidden room :

. I also feel like the hidden stuff is more insteresting than in say Triple Deluxe, with some DKC shenanigans like bonus rooms hidden within other bonus rooms.

Yep. Also the japanese cartridge already has MULTI5 (english, french, german...) languages on it so I don't understand why there's such a delay between the release in other countries.

Anyhow I've seen footage of the game and it seems really fun. The soundtrack itself is alright, but I think a couple of the remixes they threw in are awesome. Won't really mention most of them for spoiler reasons though, but they did remix the Factory theme from Kirby 64.

Also, super glad to hear the remix; that was one of my fave themes from Crystal Shards, which is my fave Kirby game of all time!

I have NEVER seen a true arena as bullshit as the one in this game. I died 5 times, each time after 30+ minute runs, and I STILL haven't beaten it. Has HAL gotten tired of the "kirby is too easy" comments?

And you weren't scared of it back when Super Star Ultra introduced it? That was the challenge that finally topped the original Dream Land's Extra Mode in difficulty!

And I thought that amiibo would make the True Arena easier ... from the looks of it, it doesn't at all. Especially with

the fact that the health refills are VERY minimal and the final boss is tedious.

As for the game itself... It's very good. I'm on World 2 so far, and enjoying this greatly. Robots are so fun in this, and they're also pretty varied in their function!

Kirby really has been in the foreground for a while... A system was found that really works, and HAL stuck to it, while diversifying the themes. It's very nice to see something like this happen.

It sure is. Actually, it's quite powerful now... there are not just two moves that it can use now. But my favorite ability from this game so far has to be

Jet.

who else got surprised about the final boss? If I didn't get spoiled, I would not have expected NOVA to be the true form of the spaceship that was invading Pop Star.

my theory on that is that haltmann managed to construct one in order to bring back his daughter. of course he didn't act on it, because he realized that star dream was a horrible abomination and didn't want to reawaken it, at least not for that
