Live a live is an SNES RPG game. The special thing about this one is that it's comprised of separated chapters that happens in different ages, each with it's own setting, story and gimmick: there is one that is like a boss rush, another that is like those RPG Maker games that mostly tell you the an story, another where there is no dialogue at all, and so on.
The chapters are a bit short, yet so complex because the enormous amounts of secrets hidden in each chapter. This, among the charm that each chapter has, managed to capture you and entertain you from start to end without fail.
And so, who has played this obscure yet amazing SNES game?
I have yet to finish it (I am close, I think, I am in the ninth chapter), but this is one of the best RPG games I have ever played, and that's saying a lot, as I play many RPGs.

Absolutely godlike game
Definitely one of Square's (and the SNES') hidden gems
Cube is probably my fave
Even if it was the least RPG-ish of all chapters

This game was awesome, but I played it directly after getting all of my wisdom teeth yanked out so maybe I was just really high on morphine??
Ninja and Wild West chapters were the best. That fighting tournament chapter kinda blows though.

Re: Live a live
I liked Akira's chapter. As cliché as it was, it somehow felt the most developed?
I would've had Cube's chapter as my favorite, but I played this game after seeing VGperson translate some of a Touhou fangame (because of course there's one) so I got it sort of spoiled. Welp.
I hope you have a save from before actually starting the ninth chapter.

Oersted's version of it is very different.
Re: Live a live
For those anyone's wondering, you should also check out Touhou-A-Live, so far it's the only fangame based off Live-A-Live, and there isn't even another one anymore... this fangame is made in RPG Maker 2003 and it has a extremely evented battle system that nobody just could do it.
