Super Mario Maker: Talkhaus Level Exchange
Re: Super Mario Maker: Talkhaus Level Exchange
I made a few tightly-focused VIP-type levels.
Marhou #1: 564B-0000-001A-04B3 (SMW)
It's a shmup except for the part where you shoot things. Apparently the Klown Kar is the traditional approach to these levels but I decided to use clouds instead. I don't think it's *too* hard to beat, but I've been told otherwise. As with both Mario games and shmups, stay a little bit ahead and you'll have an easier time.
Wiggler Athletic: 4DE4-0000-0025-2F88 (SMW)
Exactly what it says on the tin. I've been told this is hard as hell but author's bias stops me from seeing it.
Wall Kick Cave: B7B6-0000-0026-04CC (NSMBU)
After being told by my "playtester" that I make too many Super Mario World levels, and that I should stop because SMW is terrible, I made a New Super Mario Bros. U level to get him to stop whining. I'm not terribly fond of NSMBU, but I think wall jumping is pretty fun, so I used that for a level. It's fairly basic and there's definitely a lot more ways to make wall jump-based challenges.

Re: Super Mario Maker: Talkhaus Level Exchange
Oh, cool. The talkhaus tends to make a lot of levels that resonate with me, so I'm glad to see this topic. I'm about to head to work though, so I'll have to play them after. In the meantime, here are some I've made!
Gold Rush: 12B4-0000-0012-B692 (This is my basic "it is day one and I have no idea what I'm doing yet" level)
Smash Those Rebels!: CD7A-0000-001B-94B7

Sure, have some of my levels as well.
Basic Athletic: 817E-0000-0016-0552 (generic first level, not very interesting)
Overgrown Pipe Garden: C7EB-0000-0016-D991 (basically a muncher run before I had the muncher or star unlocked)
Walljumps 101: 790B-0000-001E-BA98 (playing around with the NSMB physics engine)
Seafood Danmaku Disaster: 0610-0000-001F-05E3 (oh hey, you can put fish in cannons)
Journey of a Springboard: FA60-0000-0022-24DB (how good are you at keeping your balance on a small moving bouncy object?)
Lakitu's Gardening Project: 2522-0000-002D-962C (Lakitu has terrible taste in flowers)

Re: Super Mario Maker: Talkhaus Level Exchange
Here's a level I think might be worth sharing:
Goin' in hot!: 2F25-0000-0030-B98D (aka Kuupa tries to make a difficult level)
Goin' in hot!: 2F25-0000-0030-B98D (aka Kuupa tries to make a difficult level)
So here we are. Plays have been enacted. Empires have come and gone. The mightiest have passed away and withered, alike the least. Fires have burned, thousandfold. Yet, did not the great wind serenely continue its course? Does not the blackbird still sing its song? Does not the mistletoe still dwell in the oak's crown? Forgotten, what once has been told. Veiled, the words that once so rang out. Shrouded, like the larva in its cocoon. Let him hear it, who will.

Re: Super Mario Maker: Talkhaus Level Exchange
Here's a few I've made so far:
Old Pipe Path: AC29-0000-0017-779F - I made this one when I just had the initial set of tools unlocked, I wanted to try and make a decent level with those limited resources, though I admit the restrictions chafed me a bit.
Metroid Mine: C53C-0000-0024-4640 - Because Samus is one of only four amiibo I actually own. I eventually got impatient at the rate of unlocking 'naturally' so I copied and pasted whole screens worth of blocks for awhile to trick the game into thinking I built more than I did to unlock everything. Really all I wanted were subsections, which are one of the last things you get. If this engine supported secret exits then this stage would have one, but since it doesn't the alternate path just spits you out back in front of the flagpole.
Over 'n Under Castle: 4809-0000-0030-5268 - Less focused than I'd like, but there are a few neat secrets here and there.

Re: Super Mario Maker: Talkhaus Level Exchange
Haven't logged in in quite a while (lurker extraordinaire here), but I couldn't resist the Mario Maker fever by sharing a few stages on my own, and hopefully start playing the levels posted here soon too (as Expert 100 Mario Challenge is starting to get a bit old).
Here it goes:
Paratroopin' (C92A-0000-0012-605B) (SMB)
My first level done while experimenting with the starting set. I went for a paratroopa hopping stage here. There's a couple of Mushrooms hidden around to help the player last longer, especially one before the first jump which is considerably harder than the rest of the stage.
Something Land (F091-0000-0015-74F6) (SMB)
Dunno what I was thinking with this one. Just a random SMB overworld stage with a skinny mushroom and some wallbreaking shenanigans at the end.
Puzzle House of Horror (7686-0000-0027-39D6) (SMW)
A lengthy puzzle level of sorts. There's a few items you need to collect to open up the way to new areas. Also, POW blocks do things.
Bossy Boss Rush (4E93-0000-002F-AD36) (NSMBU)
Experimenting with boss fights. There's 4 stages in total, and since the entire level takes a while and there are no checkpoints I made sure there's an ample amount of powerups throughout the run. There are several ways to approach most of the stages too.
Can't wait to see what kind of levels the Talkhaus community can pull off. :D

I guess you could say it gets a bit dude spammy, but I've put in some feathers to help remedy that. I spent a few hours on this making sure everything works properly with one another, and making sure nothing breaks, but I think I've got it up to satisfactory conditions. It's a maze level so choose your path wisely. Hope you guys enjoy it. ;o

Re: Super Mario Maker: Talkhaus Level Exchange
Made a couple levels. They aren't great, but I'd love to see some people give them a try.
Jr's Armada Assault (v2)
ID: 4079-0000-0034-0B48
This level is basically my attempt at remaking a Midas Machine level in Mario Maker. I basically trimmed down various parts of the final level of world 1 in Midas Machine for the level, and then I added some new things for the heck of it.
Waluigi's Big Break!
ID: A985-0000-0028-7DCF
I basically wanted to see if I could make a level that involved some exploring. This was actually my first level I made.

Re: Super Mario Maker: Talkhaus Level Exchange
I only have two courses that I really like right now:
Aww Ship - A simple airship course that I made that's SMB1 style and uses Sonic and Mega Man amiibo costumes. Code: 9055-0000-0030-E2C9
MAGLX2 Spike Castle - SMM Edition - Based off my MAGLX2 Level. Because of some limitations in Super Mario Maker, it looks quite different from the MAGLX2 version (overall, it gave me a slightly different experience). I also wanted to include some enemies that weren't available in SMBX that would still fit in with the level. Course is made in the SMB3 style. Code: 87D7-0000-0034-D228
