people who are good at smt iv (so, not me): how many demons should i have in my party anyway? i feel like i have far far too many and im trying to fuse em to narrow down how many peeps i have, but i keep having to get more people to make more people and basically my team is not getting smaller whatsoever and is arguably weaker than it already was. im overwhelmed. do i just throw away some of these or what? i feel like ive sabotaged myself :/

edit: okay i made it better. i still feel foolish and overwhelmed though.

SMT4 isn't a very hard game once you get out of Naraku, so you shouldn't worry about party size- in the grand scheme of things, actually min-maxing to make super demons is only relevant to superboss DLC fights. Just fuse your demons when you see "oh, this new demon looks cool" and you'll do fine. Essentially what I am saying to you is chillaxify and allow the dulcet tones of Tokyo life to soothe your weary mind and body.

Oh, and unrelated pro tip: If you want to use physical skills on your MC, boost Dex, not Strength. Dex is better for everything that matters and will make them more effective faster than Strength does.

if we're talking non-Fiend non-DLC optional bosses then yeah pretty much all you need for the one notably difficult boss there is buttloads of Pierce immunities because Beelzebub is a Beelzebutt

Well considering you can see 5 people + Morgana running down the pyramid, I think it's safe to assume there will be at very least 6 playable characters and I don't think fox mask is at all a stretch, especially when you factor in the opening movie preview.

Sorry to revive this thread out of nowhere, but I felt that I needed to share this.
What looks to be a very definitive trailer of Persona 5 was just released this morning on the Japanese Atlus YouTube channel:


It even announces a release date for Japan: September 15th, 2016 for PS3 and PS4. Which is cool and all but it could lead to westerners getting absolutely screwed on when they can pick up the game (if North America's date isn't pushed back to 2017, then Europe's probably will be). In a way, it's kinda funny that we could be waiting until next year for it, because the game's first ever teaser said that it would be out in 2014 in Japan. But, better that they take as much time that they need with it in order to ensure that it'll be fantastic. Hell, I'll probably be buying a PS4 just to play this game, so they might as well make it worth the money.

Same here, but I'll be buying a PS3 since it already has a full library of games I want that I couldn't just get on PC.
Unless the special edition is 4 only or something then I have no goddamn idea what I'll do.
