Considering the 50k+ (at one point it was 100k+) viewercount, realistically speaking you could doubt there were more than a few thousand people playing at once.

Now they're playing Pokemon Pinball.

It's one thing to make mention of: PTT has really spawned a surprising amount of really great artwork. And I am definitely not complaining about it.

I was able to post only two commands per minute because of the spamfilter. Commenting more often did not send them forward.

Well, this sure was a ride. Watching a hundred thousand people play a single game was fun, and the memes that kept spewing out every thirty minutes kept me interested and laughing. I hope the "new adventure" ends up being just as entertaining.

I even wanted to put a million in my original thought post, but thought that that would have been criticized for overestimating. BUT I DID INDEED THINK IT AND I DON'T CARE. OVER A MILLION PEOPLE PLAYED POKEMON RED, YES.

Man, there are already discussions concerning whether G/S/C will be just as amazing. I personally have my doubts, as a bunch of peeps are probably gonna regurgitate the old memes and in-jokes rather than create new ones, but who knows, really. I’m still so goshdang excited.
Also, high hopes that Red will retain the team he defeated Blue with.

Oh good christ we can't even get out the first door because it requires going up, and then not going up AGAIN because up leads to the same doorway you just came out of, so a push for going up will only result in going through the door multiple times.

Also they got Totodile, which is I guess pretty good for the sake of getting a thing to surf/waterfall/whirlpool with if they can manage not to release it this time.

Oooooh my god. That was so stressful when we went to low health, JUMPED OFF THE LEDGE INTO GRASS, and then got Lasergator down to 3 health with a potion in our inventory.

LITERALLY last second heal, one more hit would have killed us! WE STILL MIGHT DIE BUT MAN, DEM PLAYS.

Oh man, this is fantastic.

I enter the stream and before I can even see anything I can hear "bumpbumpbumpbumpbump." Good sign.
Then they finally get up the very first ledge in the game after I watch for a few minutes.
BUT enough people are saying to press right that they nearly jump right back off to the very start of the route...
BUT they get into a battle at the last second to save themselves...
BUT Totodile is down to exactly 1 HP...
BUT it's already at level 10 and it actually attacks...
BUT the wild Pokémon barely survives and sends us back home.

If that's a sign of anything, this is going to hold my attention much better than Red version did, because holy crap.

I'm a day or so late, but I just gotta say that I'm legitimately impressed that beating the game was possible. Truly this is a modern epic.

...I'm still probably not going to watch it much, but I appreciate what was going on. Surprised a sequel started so soon, honestly.

I've watched very little of this, but that whole turning before you can move thing is painful to watch in this Crystal game.

That's almost a third of the way through the game, then.

I would expect a big surprise when we reach Red on Mt. Silver, in not just his team, but their levels and/or movesets as well, if the dude changed his team at all.
