I'm waiting to see how that will play out, I don't think we can analyze that move until we get our hands on the game and see how it works.

One thing I noticed in the trailer is it seems that lil mac has himself some sort of super armor. Are the heavy classes finally going to have "immune to knockback" attacks?

That's been present ever since Melee. Depending on damage taken and the power of the attack in question, sometimes the heavier characters don't flinch from it. Though to be fair damage gets racked up so much that you rarely see it happen, so maybe it's being made more relevant in the new games.

So yeah, Little Mac: he looks to be a charge character. His attacks seem like charging Smash Attacks, only he does it for his specials too, or something. I'm slightly worried that this playstyle is going to make him the new Meta Knight though...

Also, wow am I surprised to see an Assist Trophy move up. I didn't think Nintendo would actually do it because it would spawn a torrent of "move X up from Assist Trophy" messages, but okay. *has fingers crossed for Lyn*

Based on what we can see, his KO Punch looks like it takes a long time to charge up, but he gains super armor while charging? I'm going to suppose that grabs and such can still cancel him out of it, and/or it's not very powerful unless 100% charged? Just speculation. He does look like he has other moves with armor, or maybe a counter.

Well, whatever the case, I want to play him so badlyyyyyyyyyy

I honestly expected Mac not to make it in, but it's a fun surprise that he did, and I like the way that the reveal trailer was a fun change from the normal visual style.

He looks to be really satisfying to play as. Very punchy. With punches.

Palutena making it to the roster would be very interesting. I kind of figured Mac would make it in from the first reveal when they showed the ring that looked like it was a Punch-Out!! stage.

Woo, Little Mac! That's pretty awesome, especially considering the KO bar thing. Wouldn't be surprised if literally everyone calls him overpowered because of that, but oh well. It's kinda funny he's a playable character after being an Assist Trophy in Brawl. I guess that means there's still hope for Waluigi, right?!

Anyway, I really hope Palutena does make it in. I guess she's one of the more likely characters to get in, since Sakurai made Kid Icarus: Uprising. Then again... what about Pac-Man?

Completely forgot to mention that I was crazy-impressed by the art style for the first half of the trailer. Pretty radical animation.
