Does anyone have a Defiant Piplup/Prinplup/Empoleon they're not using? Nature/Shininess/IVs don't matter.

I have a shiny defiant one that I wouldn't want to trade (named Lovely. X3 ), but if you want, I could pop her into the daycare and whip up a defiant kid for you. Got a preferred gender?

Posted my info in the thread. Lemme know what time you're usually on so we can trade. I don't really need anything special, so just whatever ya got is fine...although if you happen to have a kabuto or tirtouga with their hidden ability, let me know.

Also, would you like the mon to have a nickname, or no? Or will you just be using it for breeding anyway? I know you said you weren't picky on stats/gender/moves/etc, but I love breeding pokemon, so I can easily customize this thing with anything you want.

does anyone else feel like the Gen 2 and Gen 6 Pokemon (not games or stories or such just the Pokes) feel a little like Gen 1 or just overall expansion packs? there's so few of them and a lot of them just aren't that worth it

I think for Gen 2 it makes sense because it basically was an expansion pack of Pokemon. Even Johto itself kind of acts as a prelude to Kanto in Gold and Silver. The need for a lot of new Pokemon wasn't as high because people wouldn't know what "a lot" of new Pokemon was at the time anyway. Add in that a lot of the Pokemon were evolutionary relatives of Gen 1 Pokemon (Pichu, Elekid, Magby, Cleffa, Blissey, Slowking, Kingdra, Scizor, Steelix) that wouldn't show up often if at all, and still more of them were gimmicky (Smeargle, Unown,) or otherwise rare (Natu/Xatu,) or unmemorable (Stantler,) and it does feel like a tiny number of Pokemon.

For Gen 6, I kind of got the feeling that it was made almost entirely to move Pokemon onto the 3DS. Gen 5 offered a huge number of Pokemon and we were still expecting the Gen 3 remakes around then. Gen 5 almost felt cut off by Gen 6, honestly. As such, they didn't have to make as much in terms of new Pokemon. Maybe that's just me, though.

Gen 6 was just kind of a disappointment overall after the big and engaging world Unova (at least BW Unova; I haven't gotten the chance to sample B2W2 Unova yet) provided us with. Gen 5 was so good. so good

Yeah, DS mode is stupid when it comes to that kinda stuff. I'm in Pacific Time, so if you're in EST, I'm...3 hours behind you, correct?

DS mode may be lacking, but GBA mode doesn't even let you do sleep mode. C'mon, step it up.

Like when I see new mystery dungeon games, it makes sense to have the starters, but WHY ALWAYS PIKACHU TOO?
