I'd really like to know what they were thinking with this one.
Making a Pokémon that you can only get in certain tiles in a certain lake in a certain area, and making it so that it only evolves if you grind its Beauty stat (have fun force-feedin' it Pokéblocks).
Whatever you say Game Freak.
At least Milotic looked pretty cool so I didn't mind much.
The worst part is that it was so cryptic that young me didn't believe that was the real way to do it when I searched it on the Internet because of the whole Mew under the truck deal. But yeah, Milotic IS the best Pokémon in history so I'm not THAT angry about it.

This is probably the stupidest part of RSE
Have fun getting Espeon and Umbreon (and other Pokémon that only evolve during daytime or nighttime)
It only removed the use of TOD (time of day) to find specific Pokémon and determine the color palette of the overworld. So actually, you can still get Espeon and Umbreon.

I hope they'll fix the time bug this time. It would be cool if they would keep some reference to it (maybe said by a NPC). It was really annyoing that you couln't grow berries after one year... it was the only thing my brother allowed me to do.

Actually what I meant was that it was more annoying to know the time in game.
Every time you wanted to check the time, you had to go back to your house in Littleroot and check the clock.
At least they could have put the time in the PokéNav too. Thank heavens for Fly.

I wonder if there will be anymore mega evolutions in these games. I've heard talk about possible hints to Groudon and Kyogre getting mega evolutions, and I can't imagine they'll leave Blaziken as the only Hoenn starter with a mega evo (although I couldn't imagine Charizard would be the only one to get 2 mega evos and look how that turned out...). If there are new megas, Mega Metagross, Mega Flygon, and Mega Sableye would probably be the ones I would want to see most, maybe Mega Tropius and Mega Kecleon as well.

The only confirmed Mega Evolutions that were found was the Lati@s duo via hacking into the X and Y game files. Other than that, speculation is afoot.

I wonder if Swampert and Sceptile will get Megas. Would be kinda odd having only one starter of the three having a crazy advantage over the others.

We need mega sableye and chimeco, to add more fun Hoenn megas, while also making some incredibly useless pokemon slightly better. Also maybe mega dusknoir, to go with mega banette.

The only mega I want are mega of pokemon that aren't very good to make them good. Pokemons like azumarill is already super great (especially since it got fairy type and bellyjet this gen). But of course Gamefreak doesn't care and only make mega of popular pokemons even if they are already OP so we will get a mega blaziken Omega, mega Lucario Alpha, mega Charizard Alpha, mega Mew Omega, mega Pikachu Zeta, etc.
Or there's a possibility that the only new mega are mega Groudon, mega Kyogre, mega Latios et mega Latias, and no more new mega until gen 7.
HamsterZerg: Your list is way too long, lower your expectation man. Also some or your new typing makes zero senses. Why would megamilotic be water/fire? Why everyone should get fairy suddenly?

For Mega Milotic's typing: Fairy was too obvious, Dark was taken by Mega Gyarados, and I have this headcanon where ancient Milotic were part Fire-type.
As for Fairy-type Megas galore: It depends on the Pokemon. Some, like Mega Regice, get the type to lose a weakness to Fighting. Others, like Volcarona, are based on mythical creatures, like how Volcarona seems to be based on a seraph. And then there's cases like Crobat, who would probably get Mega Evolutions based on other mythical creatures (like vampires), While in Maractus's case, it's to get an edge on the other cactus. For Starmie and Noctowl, it takes advantage of the Fairy-type attacks they can learn, and Togekiss is already a Fairy-type.
As for Mega Ho-Oh being part Fairy, it's to go with Mega Lugia being part Dragon.

Which types are you guys' favorites? My top 4 (in desc order) are Ghost, Poison, Steel, and Ice. Top fave pokemon is a tie between Gengar and Banette.
Anywho, I'm really lookin' forward to these upcoming remakes, since among the games I've played, I've visited all the regions except for Hoenn.
Btw, anyone here got any shiny pokemon?

Oooh, yes, dark and psychic are also pretty awesome, probably the next two on my list. I really dig the dark/creepy/mysterious pokemon, like Claydol, Mawile, and (like I said) most ghost pokemon.

My favorite type is
fairy.

It's a pretty good type both offensively and defensively. And some of my fav pokemons are of this type like Mawile and Kirlia.

Ice, Ghost, Grass, Dragon... not sure beyond that. I always pick Grass for the starter, out of habit I suppose.
I was rather disappointed when I realized that Serperior wasn't Grass/Dragon. Wasted opportunity, that.

And how! I realllly didn't like the Unova starters. I mean, what were they thinking?!
Ah, well, there's always the chance they'll do Mega Serperior, who could be Grass/Dragon.
