Hey there guys,
just out of interest what is your favourite ASMBXT level? Mine would be the frozen Phoney Key Factory situated in world 8 since it provides very good level design, an accurate length and quite a variety of gimmicks used throughout the level. Add a catchy theme and you've got a super neat level.
Close contenders would be both levels by Trotim, Ascend and the Bloody Cave by Willhart.

I haven't played far enough into the game to include endgame or postgame levels, but in terms of what I have done so far, my personal favorites are Snowy Evening and Groovy. I am not saying they are my favorite because they are easy levels (that really has nothing to do with it), but it's just the atmosphere of both levels. It's still not an entirely fair judgment, but hey, it's something.

WHAT
I made the video where I play Frozen Phony Key Factory yesterday and I concluded the second half is way too long and that the hard-to-see icicles can lead to cheap deaths. Also I never figured out how to legit get the password. Yeah that level gave me some real problems.
I don't know what level is my favorite... maybe that one earlier in the game that is super long but super short. I think it was called Spikey Cavey. Yeah, by Duker. I love super hard super short levels because I feel challenged but at the same time, since it's short, it doesn't take long to get back to the part that gives me trouble and it just all-around creates a good experience with me.

I also enjoyed Tunnel by Pholtos.
and Frickin Meta.
and that Cat Planet level.
Man it's hard to choose.

Er... Gosh, that's tough. The ones that come to mind right away though are Misery Down, Glazed Donut Dungeon, Lethal Lava Cave, and Climbing the Mountain. Maybe Danger! Disco! too. They all have a really well-built atmosphere, they all have some unique and creative platforming segments, and they're all fair enough in their difficulty that I don't end up annoyed if I start dying. Wonderful music in all of them, too.

Oh Shoot! They Shoot! might also be up there, but I haven't completed that level yet. I kind of only played the first seven worlds fully, and in World 8 I only played up until the midpoint of most of the levels for some strange reason.
I can't pass any sort of judgment on Frozen Phony Key Factory because my computer makes the level give me a headache most of the time and I don't like it even though it's not the level's fault. It probably wouldn't be my favorite anyway though since it has that room that's kind of stupid where you just have to melt a bunch of ice for like three whole minutes and you can kill most of the enemies with keys before opening their rooms and for some reason it lags like crazy and makes my headache even worse.
