If I had money, I would definetly buy some games.

Well, at least my "friends" enjoy it.

Well unfortunately I didn't win 3 games from my wishlist (SURPRISE AMIRITE)

But I did buy Frozen Synapse and Savant - Ascent. I've already played Frozen Synapse for about two hours and it is a boatload of fun.
I'll be waiting to play Savant Ascent until it is convenient for me to LP it.

Games I'd also really like to pick up before the end of the sale are Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Valdis Story: Abyssal City, Waves, Love, Super House of Dead Ninjas, Anomaly 2, Anomaly Korea, Bit Trip Runner 2, Bunny Must Die, UnEpic, Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe, and Teleglitch. EDIT: Also Battleblock Theater.
I seriously doubt I'll pick up all of 'em but I'll get as many as I can!!

I recommend BattleBlock Theatre, but you really need another player for co-op purposes. The singleplayer mode is cool too, but it always feels like it lacks something.

I'll watch that.

And yes pick up this so we can play together.

Counter Strike: Global Offensive
I've actually had this game for quite awhile in my steam library but have yet to play it.

Oh, hey, that would be pretty awesome!
I was actually gonna pick it up so that me and my IRL friend could play it together. Now I'll have even more reasons to buy it!

Maybe we could get Sturg in on it too. If he wants.

I feel obligated to mention that you could have gotten FS for free if you'd checked the Humble Bundle thread.

Damnit! I could have easily given you a copy of Frozen Synapse for free or even for a trade.

Well, at least I'm not wasting money this time round. In fact, I think I might end this Steam Sale period £0.04 richer (I didn't understand the market and grossly undersold a Frozen Synapse trading card).

i've been playing cs:s casually again lately but there just arent any players anymore

i wonder if it's worth getting cs:go or maybe ill just play 1.6 or source when i occasionally want to play

If nothing else the player base is definitely there so it's easy to find games, and if Source became defunct as a result then yeah.

Well, in the Steam sale I ended up buying:
- Beat Hazard
- Counter Strike: Global Offensive
- Frozen Synapse
- Savant - Ascent
- Valdis Story: Abyssal City
- Ultratron
- Titan Attacks
- Revenge of the Titans
Note that the last three were part of a bundle.

Pretty good haul, I'd say.

CS:GO and Savant were good buys, everything else is pretty meh.

Beat Hazard and Frozen Synapse are loads of fun too, so I'd consider them good.
The bundle that had the others was so dang cheap that I couldn't really deny it. I had played another game by the developers that I really liked and they had good reviews so I could only assume they're at least decent.

Beat Hazard is really awful. Terrible programming at times and just really boring after like an hour of play. It's waaaaay too simple.

Pretty sure I've never posted in this thread before, mainly because I only really started using Steam like a week ago. http://steamcommunity.com/id/skyluigi2/
Picked up quite a few games during the sale. I mean if there's a good time to start using Steam, it's during a sale, right?

Wahey! The Steam Summer Sale ended up with me buying zero games but selling three cards for a profit of £0.13.

Also, what's this thing about a Canada Day sale?
