Hi! I noticed there seems to be no SMBX topic. So I made one so that SMBX can be discussed outside of ASMBXT discussion.
Communities:
http://smbxunited.prophpbb.com/
My own community, made due to some... discrepencies with the administration of the largest section. It's pretty small right now, but growing. Feel free to join, we're all friendly!

Forums originally made for the fangame "NSMBX". NSMBX was later cancelled, and it became a general SMBX forum. Not the largest, but probably the second or third largest SMBX community, and pretty active.

A large SMBX community run by Cloud. I don't really know much about it to be honest. Never been a huge fan personally.
http://knuckles96.prophpbb.com/
Probably the most active or second most active SMBX community. Personally, I wouldn't recommend as the administration is quite immature. (I literally just dealt five minutes ago with the head admin coming into my forum's channel and petitioning to stop my community's project because of my 'terrible level design' ), and thus the users often run rampant. Still, that's just my opinion, and it is the largest and most active portion containing most of the best content if you're there to receive, not share.
Also feel free to ask for any help with SMBX here.
Anyways, I've personally been considering starting a project recently. Not just a normal project, but an open world exploration project, which is something I've never seen done before. It's just a lot to do though.
Oh hey I've been wondering when I'd get the change to ask this: Ignoritus, if you had to choose any SMBX creation as a shining example of what the SMBX engine is capable of, with interesting and intelligent level design that never lets up, an altogether fun game that might even be considered the "best" (in your opinion) SMBX creation, which creation would you choose?

I don't think I could really put my finger on one thing. There aren't enough fully completed high-quality episodes out, and levels are just too diverse. I could name a few prominent community members who all have their unique strengths. Their levels might always be great, but they're not as strong as where other members utilize their own strengths.

This sounds really interesting. Has there been a topic somewhere about this, or are you looking for contributors?
