i set the exp rate to 1 in my maplestory server bc i didnt want to tinker with the code to make it accept floating point numbers instead of just integer numbers, its been a hot minute since i used java

and i just zonked out to it for 2 hours bc idk man. wonder boy clones are fucking good actually we need more of those. im warriormaxxing but my priority will still be mapleroyals (mapleroyals' enemy placements are more "canon-accurate", i.e. closer to the old nexon servers). cygnus and aran are on this emulator but look.

Romancing SaGa 2 - Rocbouquet found dead behind an Arby's, final emperor started.

Gonna do the backlog before fighting Kzinssie's meatspace body (optional dungeons - Gelid Ruins, Loess Ruins, Firn Ruins - as well as Forgotten Town and Noel). Subier 1 as the penultimate boss is really good bc he's Baby Easy come lategame.

Going for Fem Ranger, Fem Mercenary, Fem Imperial Guard and Amazon. I'd like to have a better spread of genders but alas, Temptation

Will do Maze of Memory later on.

I do have the Maze of Memory and a backup save should I need to grind and spark more techs.

Played through Goof Troop in co-op. Yeah, this one was really good and a game that benefited with having multiplayer. Think it wouldn't have been anywhere near as fun solo since you can take turns leading enemies around or chucking barrels at foes. One of the more unique games on the SNES.

Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon - Tower of the Zodiac, Cave of Electricity and Cave of Darkness done. Gathering gald to buy gels before doing the Forest of Spirits for Origin.

Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon - Getting better costumes helped a bunch (the levelling up I wound up doing along the way also did probs). Hand-to-Hand Swordsman (Dio) and Priestess (Mel) did a lot, currently with Heihachi (Dio, sorry Heihachi is too funny) and Mint (Mel).

Forest of Spirits, Cave of the Demon King, Muspelheim, and Niflheim done. Doing some sidequests to unlock the door to Jotunheim and Nidavellir.

Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon - Jotunheim, Nidavellir and Hel done. Had to swap back to Hand-to-Hand Swordsman for Big Eye.

Gonna do some sidequests to unlock Bifrost (need 1 more for 16) and fully unlock the Cave of Chaos (need 5 more for 20). Currently at 15. Did NOT expect questing to have such a chokehold in this game. Ahead of its time, JRPG wise /lightheartedjoke

Leveled up from Lv202 to Lv203. Still holding off on a grind sesh.

The Sunken Ship (Alberta) and Rockridge questlines were fun though Rockridge has the general pioneer cowboy fantasy stank. Wild Arms is better about that sort of thing I feel, mostly because it doesn't really play into the pioneer aspect at all.

Love too gaslight a bunch of buffalo anthros trying to take over a mine (i do not trust Sheriff Warp and his partner Ivoka even if i went along with their shit. 1312)

Legit, Rockridge made me think like "yo i need wild arms 3 back in my life soon". I need more anime cowboy wasteland shit. finna inject me some trigun



i dont think im gonna survive open world rpgs with one billion quests. the eventual genshit playthrough (women and klee only, the guys are all twinks) is going to ruin me

Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon - I did like 5 sidequests to unlock the dungeon after this (final one) which required mastering the Feng Shui Practicioner outfit (and thus mastering the Medium outfit to unlock it), climbing up a dungeon to the 12th floor, grinding to get the "Gentle Girl" personality on Mel, and climbing a dungeon to the penultimate floor.

Then I did like several attempts at doing Bifrost (the current dungeon).

And then I did a lot of outfit crafting to get the Clovis outfit (from dragon buster), and mastering that outfit to get the Cress outfit in crafting because the endboss of Bifrost* has a lot of immunities so Cress or Dhaos cosplay is best, and mastering the Cress outfit to unlock its entire skillset.

Exhaustion.

I somehow only just realized that the reason you can

is that they're only being bitches due to Windy's dogshit Black Rune hypno'ing them. That makes

Tir's canon pardoning of Milich for the death of Gremio (which fuck it still hurts)
