Welcome to the first and hopefully not the last tournament for the Touhou fighting game, SWR.

This will be the set up of the tournament because of the size of registrations we have.
Roster will update as tournament progresses
Semi Final Matches has begun. You have until Monday to complete it. If the matches are finished on Sunday, then we will move on to the finals.
Due to the fact that people will be in different timezones (such as 1 person is daytime while another is in the middle of the night), this will be more lenient for everyone.
Arrange with your opponent a time for you to do the match, so it will work out for both of you.
The deadline will be Saturday, August 8th at 12:00 PDT (GMT-7) for the QuarterFinal matches to be settled. If the other participant does not respond in time before the deadline, he will be disqualified.
If all matches are settled before the deadline, the SemiFinal matches will begin.
As for the Finals, the Finals will be a 3-way-battle (AvsB, AvsC, BvsC). Whichever has the highest winning stat will be the Champion of the 1st Talkhaus SWR Tournament, along with an update on their SWR Signature.
Note: Any matches that take place before its official start will not be counted, so if you win against your opponent in the SemiFinal match before it officially begins, that match will not count and you must fight him again.
To make things easier for me, please keep a record of your matches. An example is on the 2nd page of this thread.

As the hoster of this Tournament, I am glad for you all to give some of your time to show interest in this idea. It makes me happy to be very active in this.
Tournament Overview
This tournament will be a Best Out of 5 Matches. Each participant will select 3 characters of their own preference to go all out in each round. Whichever participant can knock out all 3 of his/her opponent's characters first will be victorious and move on to the next round. The roster of this tournament will be 16, and will be a 'first-come-first-serve' basis. So claim your spot first.
Tournament Registration
In order for you to be accepted into the 16 slots avaliable, you must fill in the following things and reply to this thread:
- Name
- Your 3 Selected Characters
- Time Available for Tournament
Tournament Time
There is no set date yet for the tournament. However, it will most likely take place next weekend (Aug8-9), but time is still undecided. Once I get all participant's available time, I will work things out to make it easier for everyone.
Tournament Rules
Here are the following rules and miscellaneous information to be used in the Tournament:
- Best out of 5 Match
- Must play selected characters only and must be in exact order that you signed up as
- When your character is knocked out, use your next character on the list
- Winner decided when opponent no longer has their 3 characters left
- Condition resets in the next round (any characters that lost will be revived for the next round)
- Matches will be played on Remilia's Stage (Scarlet Devil Mansion). The stage is indoors to avoid annoyance by weathers appearing on screen, causing lag and poor sight in gameplay.
- Any custom spell decks are allowed in the tournament
- The roster will be randomized prior and will be revealed the day of the tournament for fairness
- SWR must be in Version 1.06
- Information about how to Netplay, Hamachi, and Upgrading to 1.06 is in the SWR Thread
- More information to be added when questioned
This is what most people are probably waiting to hear, so might as well announce it now.
For all participants who are in the tournament, you will all automatically win custom-made signatures, created by myself, atruong18.
Sample:
Your 'Name' will be placed inside the box. Whatever name you have registered for the tournament will be used here.
The character you have listed first in your registration will have her own sprite on the right side, along with her own stage as background.
The 3 characters you have registered will have their image on the left side, in order of which you have listed.
The grand prize for the one who is victorious in the entire tournament will receive a custom-made Touhou Wallpaper created by myself. More information will be given to the person who wins in regards to this prize.
