Sony and Microsoft tried to make their consoles do things PC games couldn't do and were pretty universally reviled for those things.

So that's why they're trying to be mini PCs, because it works more for them.

Nintendo is the only capable one for console gimmicks.

Good on ya, really. To a certain degree the internet stage of consoles is pretty annoying, the Gamecube was the best console and controller that Nintendo did. The N64 I feel pretty meh myself about, but then I skipped from the SNES to the Gamecube, so.
